Auron was punctual and friendly. He showed us a local Buddhist Temple and we had traditional Hakata Izakaya of chicken skewers. We also had local fokuoka tonkatsu ramen which was delicious. We ended with matcha tea at a local tea house. We spoke about the town of fokuoka itself and its importance in shipping trade with China and Korea given its southern location. I’d highly recommend this tour for a mix of local food flavors and a smattering of local Culture. Auron tried to tailor our experience to focus more on food as that was what we really wanted to enjoy.

This was a fantastic walking food tour and Mason-san was a great tour guide. All of the food stops were delicious and we especially enjoyed the mentaiko bread. Mason-san was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. Would book again! Thanks!
Mason was an amazing tour guide! Very knowledgeable and you could tell he truly loved the food he was sharing. He even provided several recommendations of other places which were all delicious. This was a wonderful walking tour, despite the hot weather, it was a great way to experience key foods that if ever in the Fukuoka area, are must trys. We are glad we did it!
