We had a lovely time getting out of the city and up into the green, green hills - waterfalls, caves, and some of the best views you can imagine! Our guide, Bernardo, was really friendly and responsive too. Really enjoyable. And we met some very cute coati!

I recommend going thru a different operator, as there were some red flags with their operations. I ultimately canceled and requested refund via email as directed, with no response. After a few days, I send two additional emails and a text and finally received a response that the refund should be there soon. But, after 18 days with no refund or communication/follow up, I disputed with my credit card company to get the refund. Prior to this, they notified me after 10pm the night before a 7am pickup that I was the only person so I’d have to pay extra or cancel my tour (which is standard, however I feel this notification could have been sent sooner). They also told me at that time that they don’t pick up at my location anyway (something I also feel like could have been communicated to me sooner). They offered me a “deal” to switch my tour for a pricier one but not pay the extra cost (i looked it up and was unable to find the price they quoted- from what i saw it was the same cost). Overall it just felt dishonest and a bit shady, and with so many other operators for these things, I’d suggest choosing a different one.

Bernardo was very personable and knowledgeable.

That was the worst experience. They never showed up to pick us up. I waited more than 40 minutes in the hotel's lobby and they never even sent me a text o called me to let me know what was going on. They ruined our day because that activity was part of our journey. And still I havent received my refund. I had to called the customer service twice. I need to get my refund. ASAP

We took this tour with Raphael and it was absolutely perfect! The sights from the top of Corcovado and actually seeing what we’ve seen in pictures from the Christo statue is breathtaking! The drive through the forest, stopping at the waterfall, the visitor center and the Chinese lookout was beautiful! Then stopping by the platform and watching hang gliders and para gliders take off was exhilarating! We ended at the beach where they land, and got to enjoy a super awesome juice and snacks while watching them. Raphael is a great guide and makes the day really fun! He speaks very good English and knows his city well! His van is also very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour!

We took this tour with Rafael and he did a really great job! He was super knowledgeable about the places we visited and was able to answer all of our questions. He also took some great pics of me and my sisters. The obstacle course was my favorite part. Even though I haven't worked out in ages, it wasn't too difficult. I'd suggest wearing long sleeves during the obstacle course so you don't get snagged or cut on anything.

Guide rushed us and we finished much earlier than we were supposed to. Did not see any of the caves and only stopped at one of the waterfalls.

We have had a a great time with our guide Fernando who showed us all the nice spots in Tijuca forest. We were picked up by our hotel for a private tour, just Fernando, my wife Silvia and me. After a short drive trought the city we reached the entry and climbed by car to the Chinese Vista,. The view over the bay is the best! After that we enjoyed the forest, it's vegetation., We saw monkeys in the trees and fishes and turtles in the pond. Loved the peacefullness of the forest, Fernando was excellent, telling is all about the place. We drove back via the Leblon and Ipanema beach and got a bit of a view of the town as well. And excellent way to spent a Sunday morning !
