Highly recommend this tour! Such a great way to see some of Chicago’s beautiful architecture and learn about the city’s history. The crew and tour guide were excellent! You can’t go wrong with this tour!

Wow!! Cliff was INCREDIBLE. Don’t book with a bigger vessel. This one is special. Worth the money

Very good choice to see both Lake Michigan and the river. The guide is fantastic. If I have anything to recommend improvement, I'd say that the returning half is a bit boring, comparing to the first part when everything is so new. Also it does not match very far to the river, I was expecting to see more of the river. A good 2 hours spent!

Definitely a different ride on this smaller boat. That it was a fire boat is a bit of history and interesting but the best part of it was the smaller group of less than 30 for the tour. The narrator knew the history of the locks, rivers and waterways, buildings and bridges and was very personable. The dock meeting point is a little out of the way but away from the crowds and allows for more scenic views from the harbor than the inner city cruises and went through the locks. Only bothersome item was the guidance to have your QR code printed or ready to scan, but they didn't ask for it, just checked in by name. Tour lasted right at 2 hours.

Trip was amazing, great views, awesome boat and Cliff Long was the best tour operator with great stories and plenty of information, highly recommend this trip

The history of the boat is very interesting. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. We had a great time.

Wow...the whole experience was without doubt one of the best things we've done to see and learn about a city's history! From the welcome crew, Cliff the guide (whose detailed lively narrative was just awesome), to the cruise itself. Honestly best value for money and will be booking again on any return trips to Chicago. Happy to recommend 👌

We've been on other architectural boat tours before and highly recommend this one. It's smaller and more intimate and our guide Cliff was superb.

Fantastic. The boat is so cool, loaded with historical pictures & neat firefighter memorabilia. Great info shared by narrator, Cliff! The whole team is great! Going through the Chicago River locks is cool, architecture awesome! Would do it again for sure!

I have done other architectural tours. This one on the fire boat was great. It is a smaller boat so it’s less crowded. Easy access for a cocktail. Informed tour guide with a sense of humor. The boat is run by veterans which is pretty neat.
