Mind blowing emotional experience. Our guide Susan was phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend

I have been travelling full-time for the past 18 months and am now exploring the Caribbean. Jamaica was the first country on this part of my journey, so visiting the Bob Marley Museum felt like an obvious—and essential—stop. I was initially put off by the fairly steep admission price, at nearly US$30, particularly as the visit is essentially an hour-long guided walk-through. However, my guide, Abigail, was excellent: warm, engaging and very knowledgeable. She brought the house, Bob Marley’s life and the wider Jamaican music scene to life, and I came away having learned much more than I expected. It was disappointing that photography was not permitted inside, especially for a museum that is such an important cultural landmark and for travellers who like to document their visit. Even so, the experience was interesting, atmospheric and worthwhile. The museum gives a useful sense of Marley’s life beyond the music and adds real context to a visit to Kingston. Overall, I am glad I went. It is expensive for the length of the tour and the no-photo policy may frustrate some visitors, but for fans of Bob Marley, reggae, Jamaican culture or music history, it is still a recommended stop.

A wonderful and informative tour. Our tour guide Ricky was entertaining and knowledgeable about Bob Marley. A good 90 minutes and worth it. Even outside the museum you can relax and enjoy the music of Bob.

My family and j and a few friends visited on August 6. 2026 and we did the 12 noon tour with Tour Guide Suzie. She gave us an excellent tour and we took pics at the end of the tour. With her 11 years work experience at the Museum she is a well knowledgeable guide and high spirited. Kudos Suzie.

We’re not usually big Bob Marley fans, but we genuinely enjoyed our visit to the Bob Marley Museum. Our guide, Ricky Chaplin, was both entertaining and informative, bringing the history of the house and Marley’s life to life with real energy. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip and is an absolute must‑visit when in Jamaica.

The guide we had was truly engaging, involving us in her information giving by getting us to finish words - I’ve never remembered so much from an excursion like I have from this one = truly outstanding!

Irie was AMAZING she made the tour come to life! I can feel the energy of the place and her sweet vibes made the tour more enjoyable. Will definitely be back with my son. One love Kingston

We had the pleasure of having Ricky Chaplin as our Tour Guide. Wow!! He was absolutely fantastic......extremely knowledgeable, interactive, entertaining, talented and gave us a great overview of Bob Marley's life as we walked through each room in the Museum. We would definitely recommend this tour to all, and when you do go, try to get Ricky as your Tour Guide!!
