Even as a national park guide, Andrey’s knowledge of the wildlife (of which we saw plenty—-sloths, three species of monkey, insects, crabs, a viper, etc.) vastly exceeded my expectations. As others have said, getting a guide is a must if you’re visiting MA to see animals. We wouldn’t have spotted a fraction of what we saw without Andrey’s eagle eye.

We had a fantastic tour of Manuel Antonio National Park with Ruddy. He was an excellent guide with an impressive knowledge of the park. He could tell us so much about the plants, animals and insects we came across, and he spotted wildlife we would have walked right past on our own. Ruddy was also incredibly kind and thoughtful. We had left something behind after the tour, and he went out of his way to return it to our hotel. That kind of care really sets him apart. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the park. Thank you, Ruddy!

I loved the park but the best thing of all was the service the guide, the super rooster of Costa Rica, gave us; we traveled with children and they were super delighted, super recommended.

Felix was an exceptional guide, very informative, and was able to spot all kinds of animals. We were able to see everything I had on my list. I would definitely recommend Felix as your guide. He took lots of photos for us that we will always remember. This tour is absolutely worth it and was a wonderful two hours.

We had an incredible 2-hour guided tour of Manuel Antonio with Andrey, and it completely made our visit. Andrey is everything you could hope for in a guide: genuinely funny, engaging, and remarkably knowledgeable about the park’s wildlife and ecosystem. Thanks to his sharp eyes and scope, we spotted an unbelievable variety of animals—including sloths (with a tiny baby!), toucans, monkeys, snakes, crabs, and fascinating insects. Finding even half of those on our own would have been impossible. If you are hesitating about booking a guide, don’t think twice. Booking with Andrey was worth every single penny and easily one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!
