現存する数少ない江戸城時代の隅櫓として、白を基調とした印象的な建造物で、抜け穴や石落とし窓など、戦略性のある武家の守りを表現しています。 そのすぐ後ろには歴史ある桔梗門があり、瓦に彫られた古代の家紋を見ることができます。 辰巳櫓、桔梗門、遠くの富士見櫓までを1つのフレームに収めた絶景スポットです。 近くのモダンなビジネス街と美しく対照的な、ツアーの究極のフォトスポットです。
江戸城の正面玄関として、伝説の城郭建築士・藤堂高虎が敵を罠に掛ける巧みな防御罠「枡形」が特徴的な門です。 幸いにも、有力な大名が将軍に挨拶するために下馬する平穏の地となった。 この石造りの広場では、城を火から守るとされる神話上の虎頭魚「しゃちほこ」に出会うことができます。 この象徴的なゲートウェイは、日本のサムライの過去と現代の高層ビルがシームレスに出会う絶好の撮影機会を提供します。
この防衛線は江戸城の凄まじい警備を露呈させる。 まずは下級武士が入店者を検査する同心番所を通り過ぎます。 瓦をよく見ると、将軍の葵など3つの隠れた紋章があります。 次は全長45メートルの巨大な「百人番所 」 、 120人の猛武者が24時間365日有人であなたの一挙手一投足を見守る！ その周囲には、将軍の絶大な権力を誇示するために設計された、城最大の威信をかけた石積みがある。 この歴史的な道を歩くと、徳川幕府の究極の砦の壮大なスケールを体験することができます。
江戸城で唯一現存する三重櫓として、中央の櫓が焼失した後、この建物は城の主要シンボルとなった。 富士山の眺望で有名で、単なる防御用の望楼ではなかった。 実は将軍自ら、夏の風を浴び、遠く離れた両国の花火大会を楽しむためにここに来たのだ。
この広く開放的な芝生は、かつて日本の政治の本陣であり、将軍の大御所でもあった。 宮殿は公式の応接所と謎の「大奥」に分かれており、そこには1000人以上の女性が住み、奉仕する厳格な女性専用世界があった。 ここでは、かつて東京の歴史的スカイラインを席巻した中央天守閣の縮尺模型も鑑賞できる。
この巨大な石造りの礎は、かつて日本語史上最も高い天守を支え、1657年に焼失するまでは58メートルにも及んだ。 現在はホームが風光明媚な展望台となっている。 ここから見えるのは、ビートルズの歴史的な1966年のコンサートを主催し、世界的なミュージシャンの究極の夢の会場となった武道の聖地、日本武道館。 サムライ遺跡と現代音楽史のパノラマ対決をお楽しみください！
かつて隠居将軍の私邸であったこの美しい回遊式庭園には、伝説的な造園家小堀遠州が設計した池が配されている。 穏やかな道を歩くと、上皇さまの提案で独自に繁殖した優雅な「ヒレナガ錦鯉」が水面を覗きます。 また、各都道府県の木や優雅な諏訪の茶屋なども展示されています。 これにより、武家の城郭の旅を締めくくるのに最適な平和な聖地となっています。

Absolutely amazing tour. Honestly one of the best we have been on anywhere. Nikki was so kind and knowledgeable and she even had a purse full of pictures and facts from when the palace was built until now. It was raining but she still took her time and we never felt rushed. She was very Honestly engaged in a conversation with my daughter between points of interest which was a beautiful plus as my daughter has a tendency to talk quite a bit haha. To sum it up this is the only tour you should consider.
Akiyoshi was a wonderful guide!! I would highly recommend booking with him. He gave a great tour, extremely knowledgeable and took his time to ensure we understand the complex history of Japan and the Imperial palace. He also ensured we had a proper taxi called to our next destination

The tour guide never showed up. I was waiting and searching around the meeting point forever and couldn't find anyone.

First and foremost, we have processed a full refund for your tour. We kindly ask that you confirm the receipt at your earliest convenience. Upon an urgent internal investigation, we identified a critical booking system error that occurred on June 2. This caused multiple conflicting schedule updates and ultimately led to a severe miscommunication in our guide assignment. However, we fully recognize that this internal issue does not excuse the fact that we failed you on your precious travel day and left you waiting in vain. We take this matter with the utmost seriousness. We are immediately reviewing our booking management system and operational procedures to ensure such a critical oversight never happens again. We are truly heartbroken that we turned your highly anticipated tour into such a disappointing experience. Super fun and relaxing time walking through the gardens. Suzuki was a really knowledgeable and engaging guide who definitely made it worth the price of admission. Perfect duration and relaxing tour for our last day in Tokyo.
