Our tour guid SAKAMOTO never showed up but another guide was in the area for a different group, her name was Mena, we asked her why colleague SAKAMOTO never showed up she said she’s doesn’t know but she offered us to join her group. So if we didn’t see her we would have never been on this tour but we enjoyed her tour. No one can go into the palace but we explored the Edo castle and the surrounding gardens and the double bridge.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused, and for the guide originally assigned not being able to meet you on site as scheduled. Despite the situation, we truly appreciate that you still joined the tour and are very relieved to hear that you were able to enjoy it in the end. Miwako was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and gave a wonderful overview of the Imperial Palace history. The palace garden is simply stunning. We didn’t feel rushed. I highly recommend this tour.
