It was a good expirence in general. Pancho and Brazil were great.. but William the photographer has no reason to be there.. he takes pictures for a high cost and he should take care of what and how he says it... It seems he is looking for party instead of giving a good service..
In all honesty it was the simple pleasures that made this a great experience for me. The beautiful beach at isla mujeres. White sand crystal clear water no seaweed at all. U do have to pay to rent beach chairs and if u get hungry again u have to pay for food at the restaurants. Watching the sunset from the boat was beautiful. I didn’t like the price hike to rent a golf cart. 100$? Walk down the street and get one for 30$ instead. On top of the cost from Viator for this excursion, it’s an additional 53$ at the marina for something else. A fee maybe? Can’t remember. The alcoholic drinks were so watered down you weren’t able to taste anything but juice. Absolutely Terrible. The buffet was also very sceptical. I would advise to bring ur own bottle of liquor and snacks.

The crew was amazing! Daniel was so sweet & helpful & tons of fun! However....we were there in Sept & it was SO hot. There isn't enough shade on the catamaran for those who didn't want to bake in the sun. Also, not enough filtered water. Normally our group does enjoy lots of cocktails, but it was just too hot to drink alcohol that day. Lunch on the private each was ok....definitely not great. Our group of 4 booked an extra golf cart tour of Ilsa Mujeres with another group of 4 and Daniel led us around the island & pointed out lots of fun things we'd never find/know on our own. Each golf cart could seat 4 people. But my main concern, as a passenger in the back, was that there was no bar or protection in the back as most of the other golf carts on the island had. I was so worried about falling off the back on the bumps that my husband & I moved to Daniel's golf cart because I felt so unsafe. Thank you Daniel for offering the switch! Overall, it was just a long day. We chose transportation to the dock from our hotel (def recommend) which picked us up at 9:05 then right to the dock since we were there final pick up. But lots of standing around time waiting at the dock before we left. Once on the water, we went to the snorkeling site which was amazing! Water was crystal clear & we saw underwater ruins & tons of colorful fish. Daniel & the crew kept a close eye on us all for safety & were always present. Once back on board we went to the lunch site where there seemed to be a lot of waiting time. Back on board to move to a different part of the island where we were for about 1 1/2-2 hours. Then more waiting to get back on board. We just felt like it could have been a more streamlined, shorter excursion -- but maybe because it was so hot we were having a hard time. We were the first stop on the way home from the dock but didn't get to the hotel until almost 6:30. Like I said, it was a very long day! If you do the trip, be prepared for the long day and LOTS of direct sun. We knew about the extra fees at the dock at the dock due to another reviewer but were also reminded of it by text from the company. The fees were an add'l $53 USD/person which we paid in cash upon check in. The price for the excursion was very reasonable for the long day - but my group would have been happier if it was 2 hours shorter

Overall not a great trip although staff were nice and friendly. 1. Tax was $53 each before setting off (should be between $20-$25 each based on what I have read) 2. Catamaran was old and in poor condition (broken windows and a broken net at the front) 3. Snorkelling was very brief and busy. Spent 30 seconds maximum at one small section of the underwater museum. 4. Ice Bar / Food stop not great - just a very hot/sandy buffet with a large freezer ("Ice Bar") to stand in. 5. Free swimming / free time was very restricted and limited. 10 mins swimming was allowed and it had to be where you were told to go. 6. Isla Mujeres was obviously beautiful but so overcrowded it became difficult to enjoy.

This tour was so much fun everything was 10/10. I would recommend to everyone, there was not too many people on the boat, snorkeling was cool, we saw a turtle, starfish, and lots of fish. Then we did an hour golf cart with a guide. We also swam in plays Norte (one of the top 5 most beautiful beaches in the world). Book this tour!

The crew is very attentive and makes sure you are taken care of. The drinks are somewhat weak but otherwise, the on board experience was great. The lunch options were limited and okay. Playa Norte beach is beautiful

Great experience. I highly recommend doing this one. It was absolutely perfect. First we got on the boat and took a short ride to the snorkeling spot. We had about 20 min in the water and saw some cool sculptures. It was the perfect amount of time. Then we hopped back on the boat and the drinks were flowing. We went to a beach club with a buffet which was mid but we weren’t there for the food anyway. We laid in hammocks in the water and went to the ice bar which was so nice to cool off in. We were there about an hour and a half. Then we got back in the boat and went to playa Norte. We went shopping and hit the beach. There for about 2 hours. Again, the right amount of time. Took a boat back to the marina. We made friends with other couples and it was a great time. We got to see everything that was on my Isla mujeres checklist and were well taken care of. Our tour guide, Giovani was awesome!! STAR 5 crew!
