Perfect Day journey with Joan from beginning to finish. Charming and knowledgeable guide-driver arrived on time for our hotel pickup in a luxury comfort van. Excellent presentation in well spoken English of the history from the Phoenician to present day Spain. He described in detail each historical or cultural aspect of the monuments in Avila and Segovia and the sights along the way. Joan tour is worth every penny, Enjoy !!!

Book this tour! Juan was a wonderfully professional guide- enthusiastic, respectful, and thoroughly knowledgable and informative. Communications were great. We were picked up on time, had an impeccably clean van, driven safely, and given plenty of time not to feel rushed at our stops. The 80's playlist on our return journey to Madrid was a nice touch as well ;) Thanks, Juan!
Thank you very much for such a kind and detailed review! It was a real pleasure to be your guide, and I’m delighted to hear that you appreciated the organisation, punctuality, comfort of the vehicle, and the relaxed pace of the tour. I’m especially glad that the historical explanations and overall experience met your expectations, and that the drive back to Madrid — including the 80’s playlist 😉 — added a nice finishing touch to the day. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation. I truly hope to welcome you again in Spain in the future!
A spectacular walk, everyone in the family enjoyed it very much. Joan was very friendly and knows all the history of the places we went.
Juan is a very knowledgeable and customer oriented guide. We enjoyed the tour of Ávila and Segovia, and the incredible history that enveloped these two cities. The day tour was a perfect amount of time to not feel rushed!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a real pleasure showing you around Ávila and Segovia and sharing the history of these two remarkable cities. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the pace of the day and felt comfortable throughout the tour. Hope to see you again on another adventure in Spain!
Excellent experience. The tour was very interesting, dynamic and well structured. The guide handled the times very well: neither too long nor too hasty, which is very much appreciated. He shared valuable and relevant information at all times, and was always attentive to the needs of all of us. Your knowledge and commitment are visible. Fully recommended.
I cannot say enough great things about our tour with Joan. My husband, my two teenagers and I spent an incredible day touring Avila and Segovia. Joan is so knowledgeable about the history, geography, architecture, and landscape of the area. His energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and he’s really fun. He set our expectations early in the day and continued to update us throughout, so we knew exactly what was next, but he also easily adjusted based on our interests. He took a ton of great photos of us. The van was very comfortable too. You will not be disappointed.
A wonderful family experience We did this tour of Avila and Segovia as a family during the month of March and it was a fantastic experience. From the first moment, Joan made us feel comfortable and became an excellent guide. He accompanied us throughout the tour, explaining clearly and enthusiastically the history of each site we visited. Both big and small we enjoyed it a lot. It is a perfect way to get to know these two jewels of Castile. Highly recommended!
Incredible experience in Avila and Segovia! We did a 9-hour tour of Avila and Segovia and couldn't be happier. The driver was much more than that: he explained in detail the history of each place, accompanied us throughout the day and showed his passion for what he does. Both Avila and Segovia surprised us for their beauty and cultural richness, but the difference was made by Joan, who made everything enjoyable, interesting and very special. I would recommend it 100%. Thanks for an unforgettable day!
Oh, great. A very complete visit. I show chauffeur Joan, accompanied us and explained the whole story of Avila and Segovia. Recommended 100%.
