Our experience with Go Further was nothing short of stellar. Xavi and his team made it so easy to plan what felt like a very overwhelming set of decisions. They organized a 16-day trip across 3 countries (Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania), which included a great balance city tours and wildlife. Highlights from our city tour include the great restaurant recommendations, market tour, milk bar, and genocide memorial, which was incredibly meaningful to visit. Our guide, Eric, was stellar, so knowledgeable and warm, it felt like we were hanging out with family. I can’t recommend this group enough,

The visit to Kigali was part of a 9-day tour of the country. This first day was very informative. Désirée told us many interesting things about her country that she loves. We visited a milk bar, had a coffee in a coffee shop, admired the view from Mount Kigali, tasted local specialties, the pedestrian street and its local shops and visited the infamous genocide memorial. Day intense with emotions!

From the airport, people are welcoming and smiling. In Kigali you climb, you descend, you taste the fresh fruit juices. At sunset, the view of the whole city lighting up is magical. We had a guide (Ms. Désirée) who was very decent and nice.

We had an amazing time. Our tour guide, Eric, was so helpful and friendly. He taught us a lot about Rwanda. We shall definitely recommend to our friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our city tour with Eric. He was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and passionate about sharing the stories and culture of Kigali. Eric's local insights and engaging personality made the experience even more special. The tour was an immersive journey through Kigali's local culture and hidden gems, offering a side of the city that many visitors rarely get to see. Far from the typical city tour, it was a unique and authentic experience that truly brought Kigali to life. Every moment was enjoyable, insightful, and memorable. Eric was a wonderful guide! We took a day tour of Kigali and were able to truly experience the city. With Eric as our guide and driver, we felt completely safe exploring places we would not have visited on our own. We visited a local market, stopped at a traditional milk bar, and learned so much about Kigali’s history and culture. One of the highlights was driving up into the mountains for a breathtaking overlook of the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to understand the culture, history, and overall feel of Kigali — all in just one day!

Eric gave my mom and me an amazing day tour of Kigali City. We had such a great overall experience exploring the city with him. Not only did we feel completely safe throughout the tour, but Eric also introduced us to the beauty, culture, and history of Kigali in such a meaningful way. We got to see incredible art throughout the city, experience the local markets, learn about Rwanda’s history, enjoy the mountain views, and so much more. I especially enjoyed learning about the city while fully experiencing the local culture. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kigali!

I had the absolute best time touring Kigali with Eric. I was in Kigali for work with only a day to sightsee, and this experience did it all. Stops on the tour included -- a milk bar, a local market, a delicious lunch, Mt. Kigali, and the genocide memorial. In between all the stops, I got to learn about life in Kigali from a local (Eric is the best!). Everything was absolutely seamless, despite Kigali hosting the final day of the Tour du Rwanda. Eric navigated everything perfectly and made me feel right at home everywhere we went. I look forward to taking additional tours with Go Further on future visits to Kigali.

Great day out with Desiree. I happened to be the only person on the trip. This meant that she could be flexible with my itinerary. We visited lots of places in the city including visiting a milk bar and a coffee shop and various museums and art galleries. She was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot. Would definitely recommend this day trip.

We (mom and 2 kids ages 12 and 14) had the BEST tour of Kigali with Eric of Go Further tours! We started the tour with a brief overview of the city and a learned a few phrases in Kinyarwandan. We then set off in a clean and comfortable car stocked with water for our day around the city. NOTE: bring your appetite!! We stopped off at a typical “milk bar” where fresh milk is sold, along with snacks of chapati. We also had a lunch of traditional foods, which was SO MUCH FOOD, lol! Everything was delicious and fresh. There’s also a stop at a beautiful coffee shop later in the afternoon. Eric was incredibly kind and patient with my kids, as well as open to thoroughly answering every question I posed along the way. We visited the market, a beautiful lookout point from Mount Kigali, several stops showcasing murals in the city, and the last stop is the genocide memorial. I highly recommend this tour as a great way to both see some major sights in the city as well as experience some more traditional parts of the culture. We really loved our day with Eric in Kigali!!
