Absolutely wonderful experience. Vikor reached out the day before to confirm our booking and discuss our preferred itinerary. Pedro was on time for our tour and made the tour the best we could hope for. He is knowledgeable about the area and a brilliant historian of the world. He quite conversant on many subjects. At our request he took us to a fabulous off the beaten path for a magnificent lunch with awesome views. Pedro is one of the best tour guides we have ever had the privilege of touring with.

It turned out to be our best day in Rio!
Thiago was our guide. On a scale of one to ten, I would give him a twenty. Growing up, he attended a bilingual school and thus his English is very good. He’s spent his whole life in Rio, is college educated, super knowledgeable, compassionate and energetic. We booked a six hour tour with him but we ended up with an eight and a half hour tour. He insisted that we didn’t need to pay him for the extra time. I insisted that if he didn’t accept payment for his additional time, I wasn’t going to be happy. I won. During my week in Rio, we used several different guides, most of whom were selected by a friend of ours who has resided in Rio for the past 40 years and who works as a journalist. Unlike the other guides we used, Thiago was selected by me based solely on his TripAdvisor reviews. Our day with Thiago turned out to be the best day of our trip, by far. Thank you Thiago!!!

Highly recommended
This is an excellent tour. Our guide Vitor planned the day according to our interests and time, allowing us to see and learn a lot about Rio in a day. The car was comfortable, Vitor was very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining.

Great!!!
This was a wonderful tour! I had only one day to sightsee and I saw so much in a short time. Tiago was knowledgeable, engaging and incredibly helpful. I give him and the whole experience my top recommendation!!

Rio in a day
My wife and thoroughly enjoyed our all day tour of Rio with our guide Vitor. Vitor worked with us to customize the itinerary so that we were able to see all of the main attractions plus explore places that were off the beaten path and learn about local culture. Vitor was knowledgeable and efficient. I was amazed at how much we were able to see and learn in one day. Recommend him highly if you’re looking for a Rio tour.

Great Rio private tour experience
We had a great private tour with Vitor. He as friendly, funny and extremely helpful. He made great recommendations for our day and was very accommodating of our last minute changes and suggestions. We had English and Spanish speakers in our group and Vitor switched around between 3 languages perfectly. He gave us lots of good explanations of history and context for what we saw, and continued to give us advice and guidance after our tour was over. Even the van was very nice and very clean! I highly recommend booking private tours and transportation with Confortour and Vitor.

Great experience in Rio
We had an amazing experience during our day-trip to Rio de Janeiro. Vitor was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and met all of our expectations in the time that we had available. Would recommend him and his company without a doubt.

The best guide!
Thiago was amazing he offered so many choices and we did everything we wanted! Couple days before when I informed him we want to do Sugar Loaf Island and Christ the Redeemer, he said no problem and even sent me the link of the correct times and times to purchase them for! He made it so simple. He went to so many places and was full of knowledge. We absolutely loved our time with him and enjoyed how flexible he was in times and things to see and do! Def book your tour with them!!!

Excellent Tour Guide and Driver!
Vitor is a phenomenal 2–in-1 guide! He is both a professionally trained tour guide and expert driver during our recent private tour in Rio de Janeiro. We enjoyed getting his personal perspective on life in Rio. We felt like we were riding along with a friend. He showed us a few ‘hidden gem’ sights and went the extra mile in getting us to our next location!
