We were staying in Buzios, but couldn't miss the opportunity to see the sights of Rio. Despite the traffic, we had a great time in Rio and would highly recommend Gus. Without him, we would have probably spent the majority of our day just trying to make it up on the train to see Christ The Redeemer! He is very experienced, knows everyone and helps you navigate everything with ease. From advising what side of the train to sit on for the best views, to the best places to capture that perfect picture, his knowledge was invaluable.
After Christ the Redeemer, we took the cable car up Sugar Loaf, enjoyed the beach at Ipanema and had a quick dip in the sea at Copacabana beach.
All in all a great day, helped immensely by having the perfect guide

His English is fantastic and he was kind enough to switch between English and PT since we had varying levels of fluency. Experience Rio!
We spent nearly two full days with Gus and he shared so much of this great city with us He was personable, kind and gave us valuable insight on the local history. Also a great storyteller and driver!
Highlights included a personal tour of Christo Redentor, Cathedral of St Sebastian, the Selaron Staircase , Carnival Experience and Santa Teresa.
I highly recommend him for personal tours .

Fantastic Rio guide!
Gus picked us up from the port at the end of a cruise and showed us two of the highlights of Rio (Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf) before transferring us with our luggage to our hotel. He was prompt, funny, and knew everyone everywhere. He also organized tickets to a soccer match for the next day including transportation. We had a fantastic day and I would recommend him to anyone.

Hot Rio!
Our experienced guide, Gus, made all the difference for our Rio adventure. Due in part to Holy Week, Christ the Redeemer was packed! In spite of having “skip the line tickets” the lines were very long and hot. Gus helped our group navigate the chaos! The weather was perfect for photos with a beautiful blue sky. Unlike the cruise ship excursions, we also made it to Sugar Loaf and, thankfully, beat the late afternoon storm. Again, Gus, made the difference, as we arrived past our entry time, but he was able to get us in. Rio is a beautiful city and I hope to visit, again. Thanks, Nancy & Gus

Fabulous cruise port day
Gus took exceptional care of our group in Rio. We were in for a shorter day, off of a cruise ship, and Gus managed to tour us through both Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. He was very attentive to ensuring everyone was looked after and showed us a fabulous day. Highly recommend Gus!

An Amazing Five Star Tour

Beautiful Day in Rio with Patricia!
Our experience with Patricia was amazing! She was super knowledgeable about the history and all the sites of Rio. We did this tour on our last day in Rio and really wanted to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf but we had a tight timeframe before our flight. Patricia knew exactly how to make this work and even knew some tricks on how to wait the shortest amount of time in lines. As we wrre driving Patricia gave us really interesting information about the city and we truly enjoyed our conversation with her. It was just a great experience.
Booking was also very easy and Gus gave us exactly the info we needed to buy the tickets for skip the line and fast pass, which were really necessary as the lines everywhere are long and these attractions are crowded. Very good experience with a professional tour company and Patricia as our experienced guide. Thank you so much!
