What a fabulous time with Ryo and Takako. The hosts and the whiskeys were amazing. They shared so much information about the surrounding area and about distilleries across Japan. The whiskeys were served in a couple different styles to compliment each one. I highly recommend this experience to all fans of bourbon and whiskey.
This is hands down one of the best tours I've ever done in my entire life! I'll totally repeat each time I visit Japan! Ryo and Wakana were amazing hosts! Ryo is the best Mama in the whole world! (female bartender slang in Japanese).
I normally drink whiskey, but this tour has changed my life. bartender was so attentive and informative, i can now enjoy whiskey!
We started our trip with this tour to get to know the Golden Gai area. What an experience! 4 different tastings with snacks. The ladies were knowledgeable and it was a great trip!
I had a marvellous experience in the historic drinking district of Golden Gai, where I enjoyed exclusive service. The whiskies were explained to me in detail, and I was even served onigiri. The two female bartenders were friendly and made a real effort to ensure I had a great time. I would love to visit again!
Tatako and. Ryo were an amazing pair! They were both fun and super informative on the different Japanese whiskey brands. They had a guide so it was very easy to follow along, they meet me at the subway station and showed me around the Golden Gai area, and had yummy snacks to go with the whiskeys. They also contacted me and played music that I loved during the tasting! They are both very personable people. 10 out of 10 would 1,000 percent recommend to anyone visiting Japan!!!!!
An excellent whiskey tasting with great insight into whisk. You don't have to be well acquainted with whiskey to enjoy the tasting.
I cannot recommend this experience enough! It was educational, and super fun. The ladies all made the experience so fun gave me great recommendations of places to visit. I have never had such a great Whiskey tasting experience!
