The description far outweighed the actual experience. Until we mentioned the expected water/soda on this very hot day, I doubt any would have been provided. Lunch was a limited choice of 2 items with no beverage. We had to wait quite awhile to get into the first gated stop, after a lengthy ride, as our guide had to contact the office so we would be let in. The whole experience fell far short of expectations until we just asked to end it and take us back to our ship. The time management would have prevented us from completing everything listed anyway. The expense of this trip was certainly not worth the experience.

Regarding the water and sodas, bottled water and sodas are indeed included in the Jeep Safari All Inclusive Private Tour and are regularly offered by our Staff throughout the day. We sincerely apologize if they were not proactively offered at the moment you needed them most — this is something we will address with our Team directly.
As for the brief wait at the first venue, Punta Sur Eco Park is an independently operated facility and not owned or managed by Coco Adventours Cozumel. Access occasionally requires a brief clearance or authorization from the venue's own Staff, which in this case took only a few minutes. This is a standard procedure beyond our control and not a reflection of poor time management on our end.
Regarding the lunch, the two menu options and the fact that refreshments are not included during the meal are clearly outlined in the tour description under the "What's Included" tab, both on Viator and on our website. We encourage all Guests to review these details prior to their tour date.
Finally we want to respectfully clarify that the ride to Punta Sur Park is the standard and regular route for this tour, as the park is located at the far southern end of the island. Additionally the tour was completed in full — the return to the ship was not earlier than scheduled.
We genuinely regret that the experience did not feel worth the investment and we appreciate your candor as it helps us continuously improve.

Tour was fine. Driver...
Tour was fine. Driver said that he didn’t get a salary and needed a tip. I gave the tip I would have given him anyway, but it seemed that he expected more. Do you really not pay him?
I felt the tip comment was rude. He also asked if I wanted to stop at an atm to give him enough tip. I paid close to $200 for the tour and should not be pressured to give a tip.

Great day at Cozumel with José/Pepe

Wonderful!
We really had a wonderful day! Our guide, José Pons, aka Pepe, was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information about all the beautiful places we visited in Cozumel and made sure we had a great experience throughout the entire day.

The only reason this tour...
The only reason this tour did not get a 5 star rating is due to the jeep not starting. We were placed in a van, but the company did bring out a jeep to our first stop and made everything right. Our guide, Jonny was amazing. We had a great time and glad we did it. This being the 5th time To Cozumel, this was the first time we explored the island itself.

Cozumel's extremely humid and salt-laden coastal environment can cause unexpected electrical issues even in well maintained vehicles, and our Jeeps also regularly navigate rugged off-road and muddy terrain which adds an additional layer of wear.
Despite our strict maintenance program these situations can occasionally arise, and we are glad our Team was able to resolve it swiftly by bringing a replacement Jeep to your first stop and making everything right.
We appreciate your understanding and patience and are so glad it did not take away from what sounds like a truly memorable day!
