Bought 2 round trip tickets and the night before going to Machu Picchu, I received a message saying they were having a system error & could not send me the tickets. I had to buy new tickets at the bus station, which was honestly very easy so I suggest just going to the actual station instead.
Easy! I did have to ask for the tickets but that’s not a big deal. They then kept asking me to send the tickets back they had just sent me, which I didn’t understand the point of and couldn’t do with reception levels but it didn’t seem to matter because all worked out great and it was simple and easy. Also! The ride up is BEAUTIFUL! Try to get a window seat up or down for pictures! I also recommend early morning when there’s a pretty mist around the mountains riding up. It created a beautiful atmosphere in my photos. The bus drivers were sweet and funny. I think the one going up was bilingual if you don’t speak Spanish but if you need something translated just ask someone in line, another employee, etc. relax and enjoy the views :)
