John was engaging, generous, and also moving. He never abandoned the character he played with great credibility, accompanying me to beautiful and mysterious places in Buda. Splendid experience, highly recommended.
Great tour, Joe was full of stories and wisdom of the city. take a brolly if the weather isn't looking good
10 stars! Joe took very good care of us! We loved how he answered all our questions and the stories were very interesting and well told. Will absolutely book more tours with him! We had SO MUCH FUN!!!! This is a MUST for your trip to Budapest.
We hired a Buddha tour with White Umbrella and were lucky to have Amaia as our guide. A very nice girl who explained everything great. We recommend it 100%
Joe was absolutely amazing... his knowledge and story telling reaches different levels... he gave us a brilliant tour of Budapest explaining us fun facts and true crime stories... if you like True Crime than you MUST go on tour with Joe....

The crime city tour with Joe was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, he created a thrilling atmosphere and captivated us with his engaging storytelling. His explanations were not only informative but also incredibly entertaining – you can really feel his passion and deep knowledge about the subject.
The guide (Joe) really knew how to captivate you and bring the stories to life! We had a very great time and learned many interesting facts about Buda Castle and the murder stories. We would definitely book this tour again.
This tour exceeded all my expectations! I was the only participant, and Joe was so kind to still go ahead with it — even tailoring parts of the experience just for me. It was a fantastic walk, and I learned so much! Highly recommend to anyone interested in Hungarian history, looking to learn something new, and true crime fans, or course.
5/5. Joe is energetic and really well put in English. A bit cold since it takes two hours, but a great way to see the city at night
