Fantastic trip to this beautiful monastery in the mountains. Eva our guide was so passionate telling us about the history of Bulgaria and the monastery. Fantastic restaurant on the left as you enter, offering authentic Bulgarian food which was not expensive, glorious views.

Iva was a real professional. This full day tour went smoothly from beginning to end. Her communication, in 2 languages, kept us informed , allowing us to make the most of our time at all the stops. She was enthusiastic about Bulgarian history and this made for a special day. We definitely recommend this tour.

Boyana Church: Nelly smoothly managed our timed entry to see the breathtaking 13th-century frescoes, bringing the medieval artwork to life with contagious excitement. Rila Monastery: Nestled in the majestic Rila Mountains, this 10th-century UNESCO site stunned us with its striped black-and-white arches and vibrant courtyards. Multilingual Brilliance: Nelly effortlessly switched between languages on our tour bus, making every single guest feel included, valued, and completely engaged. Boundless Energy: Nelly's enthusiasm for Bulgarian history never dipped, even during our scenic two-hour drive into the mountains. Fascinating Stories: She pointed out hidden details in the complex icon paintings and shared powerful tales of how the monastery preserved national identity.

This is quite an efficient and economical way to travel to Rila monastery. We had a big full bus. The group was a combination of English, Spanish and Italian. Our guide Alexander had to ensure everyone gets the proper schedule. He is a knowledgeable teacher unfortunately the time was limited and Alex had to reduce to the very minimum to accommodate all the listeners. Nevertheless I still had gained a few additional cultural background during the visit. The coordination of the schedule was all well done.

Rila Monastery worth the visit. Small issue with free time available for lunch and photos. Guide Nelli knowledgeable.

The group was very large, broken up into three different groups- English, Italian and Spanish. We had to wait a significant time to enter Boyana Church.

It was a truly interesting tour; it was well-planned, and everything was exactly as I wanted. INA provided excellent guidance. I highly recommend this group to you.

A disaster. We booked a tour with a Spanish-speaking guide and on the bus we were mixed with many languages, the guide spoke in English and you could not understand anything at all. Upon arriving at the Monastery they indicated that we had free time until our Spanish-speaking guide arrived and they told us the wrong time, so when we arrived at the time and place they had told us, the tour had already started. Thanks to the Spanish-speaking guide Karina (the only thing that was worth it) who stayed behind afterwards to explain to us again what we had missed. Look for another tour. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

Highly recommended and interesting tour. Iva is an excellent, dynamic, and pleasant guide. The schedules were respected at all times.
