アフリカ最大のスラム街の一つであるキベラ・スラムをご案内します。私たちがコミュニティに残すライフスタイルを教えていきます。 中の人々と交流することもできます。 私たちのツアーは、二代目大統領の邸宅の近くにある集合場所から始まります。 そこから私たちはスラム街に直接向かい、そこで周りのフレンドリーな男たちと交流します。 私たちのコミュニティ内にある歴史的なサッカー場も訪問します。 さまざまな場所を訪れた後、休憩ポイントに向かい、そこで飲み物を飲んでエネルギーを補給し、ツアーの残りの部分を続行します。 また、鉄道路線を訪問し、その鉄道がどのようにして誕生したかを説明します。 そこからスラム街のビューポイントに行き、一緒に集合写真を撮ったり、スラム街の写真を撮ったりします そこから私たちのオフィスに向かい、Uberを待つ間チャットをします。

Showed up at the meeting location on time. Called the contact number multiple times no answer. Waited and waited, the tour guide never arrived. Still waiting for my refund...

After ordering the tour Daniel from local NGO, Okolea Mtaa Foundation, proactively confirmed in WhatsApp the booking. We have met the next day as agreed and proceeded to have very informative and interesting walk through Kibera itself. I have really enjoyed discussion on social situation, how the Kibera infrastructure works and its history. Daniel has been very attentive host and I have felt very safe throughout entire time. It was obvious that Daniel is well known and respected local community figure, greeted by a number of inhabitants. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour. Last note, in context of slum, I was impressed by organization of community, resulting in low crime, provision of water, electricity, sanitation, even the urban gardens with small but meaningful local contribution to food supply.
