If what you want to do is see the island Alex is your man. He will take you to your favorite watering holes where you can take pictures and drink exotic drinks, we went on a tequila tasting tour, to the supermarket, saw Mayan ceynote and drank margs on the beach with chips and salsa at the mojito bar and snorkeled and ate lunch at the beach club. Alex was very adamant that we make it back to our ship on time although he was prepared to let us stay in his spare room if we didn’t! :))

This was a really great tour around Cozumel, including the unpopulated East side of the island, which was quite scenic. Alvin led us around (he drove one jeep, I drove the other). My family and wife's parents came along (9 people). It was a little hot (being late July), but AC worked great in the vehicles, and Alvin had plenty of bottled waters and cans of beer on ice in the cooler (we had some left after the tour, and grabbed one for the walk back to the cruise ship). Alvin had a Great attitude and gave history/info on the various places, and gave us the option to stop or keep on going at various beach and lookout stops. I enjoyed swimming in the cenote (inland freshwater pond--the water was a perfect temperature). The lunch at the well-known Money Bar beach club was Fabulous (included in the package). Snorkeling there at Money Bar was Awesome--2 stepped entrances with handrails, and there were at least 1,000 pleasant marine fish swimming around you there. Covered tables to eat your lunch and they have a larger menu as well. As requested, Alvin got us back in time (by 3:30), so we could clean up and make it to our dinner by 5pm (although the line of people going thru Mexican security at the port was kind of long...). Great Tour overall!!

10/10 experience and we really enjoyed our tour guide Jordan. The booking manager did not lie when he said Jordan was one of the best tour guides. Whole tour was worth our money and we did book it for 11 people very worth the price!

I booked this because o have used Viator before and they have never disappointed! Our tour guy Jordan was absolutely fantastic! There’s me Mom, 23, 19& 19 year old boys!!! They said it was the best experience ever!!! Jordan brought all over us he island. From learning how to make chocolate, learning about Mexican Tequila to snorkeling and then visiting a Cenote!! Wait we also had how mad we tacos and salsa ! Viator hasn’t disappointed me yet and neither did Jordan!!!!

Alex was our personal tour guide and took us on a wonderfully informative trip around the island of Cozumel. He customized it to meet our own requests. We had an authentic meal, saw a Mayan cave, snorkeled in the ocean, and saw a cenote. We even stopped at a grocery store on the way back to port for some necessary candy bars and Pepsi! We appreciate you, Alex!

Great experience with our guide Ricardo. It was great to be in a small group and we were able to dictate the time and terms of the visits. We loved being able to see almost the entire island and all of the natural beauty of Cozumel.

I apologize for taking so long to leave this review, but we had such an amazing time with Alex. He took us the whole island and showed us everything and taught us so much and we just had such a great time. I would definitely do it again.

We had a great day exploring Cozumel with Alvin! He was very knowledgeable and engaging with our family. He gave us plenty of time at each spot and let us decide on how long we wanted to stay. He made sure we had plenty of time to get back to our ship and even took us on a tour of the city on the way back. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our day!

We had an absolute blast on the Viator Private Jeep/Buggy Excursion in Cozumel! If you book this tour, do yourself a favor and ask for Alex—he was easily the highlight of our day. He was incredibly informative, accommodating, funny, nice, and went out of his way to make sure our family did exactly what we were interested in, all while getting us back to the cruise ship with time to spare. Being a family with four kids, Alex tailored the day perfectly for us. He suggested we skip the tequila tasting and took us instead to see a collapsed cave where the original Mayans used to stay. The kids absolutely loved getting to see the bats inside! Throughout the day, Alex shared so much about the local culture, pointed out iguanas, gave us great advice on which local shops to trust, and even let us borrow some of his own personal snorkeling equipment. The Sights: We got to go to the tallest natural spot on Cozumel for some incredible views. Mojito Factory: A great stop where we enjoyed some drinks, fresh salsa, and delicious guacamole. The Money Bar Resort: Our last stop for snorkeling and lunch. The seaweed/sargassum made it impossible to get into the water on one side of the island, but we had done our research beforehand and knew that was a natural possibility—totally out of the tour's control, and it didn't slow us down at all! The Lunch: The included lunch at the Money Bar wasn't anything mind-blowing, but it wasn't bad by any means. You do have the option to upgrade and buy off their regular menu if you want, but since it was our last stop, we just chose to wait until we got back to the ship to eat a bigger meal. Overall, it was a wonderful, stress-free day. Alex was an amazing guide who truly looked out for our family and made the trip memorable. We would highly recommend him for any tour on the island!
