Private tour including Tierra Maya living sanctuary
We booked a private tour where we tried honey, made chocolate, tried tequila and other local liquors, made salsa and made tortillas. It was an AMAZING experience. Gabby and Roberto were so welcoming and not only explained everything clearly not answered all our questions patiently. Not only do I highly recommend but I am figuring out how I can come back to visit them again soon. Wonderful retreat for us on our cruise stop. Irving was out driver and was very friendly and accommodating.

Cozumel adventure
Ricky, our driver was great. He met us with a sign so we knew he was looking for us. He asked what we wanted to do and tailored our tour to us.

Great minivan excursion
Aldair was our guide and Jesus (Chewie) our driver. They gave clear directions for pick up and the minivan was perfect with cool bottled water whenever we wanted it. They talked us through the ticket process at the Mayan ruins and prepared us for the upsell. Then we went for the honey and cocoa experience which was great fun (and delicious). Due to inclement weather we didn’t stop on the wild east coast of the island but our guides kept us entertained with lots of interesting information about the island throughout the trip. I’d thoroughly recommend them.

Highly recommend
Our driver Angelo was such a great tour guide and took us all around Cozumel showing us cenotes, beautiful beaches, great bars and even downtown. He made our day super special and he has such a great personality. Would love to use him again when coming back to Cozumel.

Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience! Our driver Irving was very kind, very friendly. He took us to the San Gervasio ruins, to scenic spots, and to a beautiful beach. Absolutely recommended

Excellent Value and Performance
This private tour was a relaxing and easy way to tour Cozumel during our limited time on shore from our cruise ship. Our guide, Aldair, was on time, super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We discussed a plan prior to heading out and we enjoyed our time looking for adventure around the Island. We stopped at a local resort and enjoyed the beach, Taquella tasting, and the wildlife. We visited a couple of local markets and enjoyed interacting with vendors to get good deals and support the local economy. We would recommend this excursion to those looking to make their own memorable day in Cozumel.

Must do!!
Gerardo was engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about the island. We loved all of our stops and appreciated the customization. I would definitely recommend!! Be mindful that the vehicle is small although it holds 6. If you have taller passengers, you may want to communicate with them, they are very responsive.

Great day
Great way to cost the island. Our guide Ricky was very knowledgeable and took us to a great Mayan experience as well as remote area of the island. Finally we had a great Mexican lunch based on his recommendation. Thank you to Ricky and Jesus for a great day.

Amazing Day in Cozumel
What a wonderful day! Enrique was a fantastic guide and curated our day around our desires. We did not want to go to the beach or tourist stops so we drove the whole island, learned about the culture and did a wonderful Chocolate and Honey experience with Terrra Maya. That experience was a highlight that he coordinated for us. Lunch was a local place that we went to with him. I highly recommend this company. Car was very clean and the whole company is very professional and good with communication. Would definitely use on our next trip to Cozumel!

Enrique made us feel like Cozumel experts in a few hours
Enrique was a phenomenal tour guide. We opted to cruise the island and learn some of the history and geography of the area. Enrique, being from Cozumel, was a wealth of knowledge and made the trip a lot of fun. We stopped at Tierra Maya to learn and experience local honey, chocolate, salsa, and of course tequila. Tierra Maya is a newer tour excursion, but they are locally owned and operated which made it enjoyable to visit. Enrique was extremely flexible, stopping for some lunch off the southern coast when we asked and had great recommendations. I definitely want to return to Cozumel and stay for an extended stay. Such a laid back, relaxing vibe. And people like Enrique make it worth returning to. 10/10 would recommend this tour to others.

We’re also so happy you enjoyed Tierra Maya! It’s a very hands-on experience hidden in the middle of the jungle, where you can grind cacao, taste honey from the sacred Mayan stingless bee, make your own tortillas and salsa, and sample local liqueurs and flavors. It’s a fun way to actually participate in some of our traditions instead of just hearing about them.
