We had an excellent city tour that gave us a fascinating introduction to the history of Kyrgyzstan. Our guide took us to the most important monuments, statues, buildings, and public spaces, explaining not only their historical significance but also the broader cultural and political context behind them. One of the highlights was learning about the city’s architecture like the Soviet-era and brutalist buildings. The guide provided nuanced and balanced insights into the history of the city, discussing both its achievements and its challenges without oversimplifying the topic. What made the tour particularly memorable was the guide’s depth of knowledge and ability to answer questions thoughtfully. The explanations were engaging, informative, and adapted to our interests. We came away with a much deeper understanding of Kyrgyzstan’s history, identity, and urban development. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to look beyond the surface and gain real insight into Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan. And if you're wondering what kind of drinks are sold at the stands around every corner in town, ask him, you'll like it :) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars.

Excellent tour! I was really glad that I did a walking tour with a guide rather than exploring on my own. I learned so much new and would have definitely missed many cool sights. My guide was amazing and super knowledgeable! She did an excellent job making the tour super interesting
Very complete , very energetic guide and interested in answering questions as well as providing added value with many more information. What a walking tour is like, it helps to have a break and stop for coffee or something refreshing and we were able to do it! I recommend this tour
Alex was amazing! He was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, informative, and kind. It was a miserable winter day, but we enjoyed walking around the city and learning so much about the country, the city, history, their hero’s, and a whole lot more. Time flew by. He also helped us with some recommendations for the evening for places to eat and such. This was time well spent and I highly recommend this tour with Alex.
