Once we got on board, almost everything was great. Unfortunately, the single bartender was not what was needed and we had to stand in line for quite a while to get a beverage. Thankfully, however, Kyle (I think) did a great job once we got to him. Thanks for that. The food and other service were much better than expected. We chose the VIP package and it was well worth it. Charcuterie and caviar, great caesar salad, delicious shrimp starter and steak or lobster entrees were just so good! Dessert, too. The main negative involved the arrival process. There was no signage directing guests, no employees that were there to help and the directions on the confirmation email just direct guests to pier 36. Pier 36 is a couple of hundred yards long with several tour boats tied up. Ladies in high heels, disabled folk and little kids should not have to wander up and down that long pier trying to find the correct boat. NYC Water Cruises, you can do better than that!!!! Except for that pain in the a$$, I would have given 5 stars.
