Our role is to make sure guests receive all the necessary information about what to see, where to go, available activities, meeting points and timings, so they can use their time at Lake Bled as efficiently and enjoyably as possible. On this occasion, our driver became ill, and despite our efforts, we were unable to find a replacement at such short notice. Unfortunately, the only option available to us was to cancel your booking. We immediately informed Viator about the situation, and you received a full refund. We would also like to clarify that we are a legitimate and professional tour operator. However, according to our conversation records, the request to change the tour date came from you because your husband was admitted to the hospital on the day of the tour. You later informed us that he would need to remain there for a couple of days. Unfortunately, under those circumstances, there was not much more we could do other than assist you and arrange a full refund, which we hope provided at least some reassurance during a difficult situation. We did have very heavy rain that day, so I completely understand that the experience may not have been as enjoyable as you had hoped. However, the tour was provided as advertised. Bled Castle and Pletna boat tickets are clearly listed as optional and not included before booking. We hope you still took some nice memories of Bled home with you.
