The last time was in Ireland a year ago I had an accident, and so I was checking to see if it was feasible to have a private driver car for a day. I weighed the options and saw that, well, it's relatively expensive compared to just renting a car. But I didn't realize the true value of the private driver and tour guide since I could never have afforded that in the past. Our guide Ray in this case was such a tremendous help, not just on the same day. He practically read my mind of what I wanted to do. And adjusted the schedule so that we had just the right amount of time to do everything we wanted including a leisurely lunch. We had tickets to New Grange and he knew exactly where to to meet us. At the end of the day, he took us directly to the restaurant where we met our friends for dinner. And he told me not to miss the video about at the Hill of Tara the next day even though he wasn't even engaged by us. And he was right about that too.

Diana was fabulous! She picked us up on time and expertly navigated traffic! She gave a great overview of the area and where we were going. I would definitely book with her again when I come back!

Diana was wonderful! She was so good at communicating and everything worked out perfectly with her meeting us at our hotel. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the sites and extremely personable! She made this day excursion the highlight of our trip to Ireland!

We were so glad that Diana stepped in to take us to and from Battle of the Boyne Heritage Centre and Newgrange. Our original driver had a family emergency. Diana located us at our hotel right on time. She provided background knowledge for both places and spent some time, with the use of a booklet which Diana had created, on the history behind Knowth and Newgrange. It was so helpful to review the history behind the tour prior to our getting on the bus. Diana ensured we knew where to get the bus for our Newgrange tour and met us promptly at the end of the tour. We enjoyed spending the day with Diana. We would highly recommend Diana and her Gateway to Ireland company as a driver/private tour guide.

We had a wonderful time on our Newgrange and Boyne Valley Private Day Tour with Diana. She was very informative and the sights were very interesting.

My experience was wonderful, my guide was Ray. He explained everything very well, he was very patient and understanding. I did not have my reservation to enter the valley, and they managed everything to make my visit possible. I truly give them 10 stars.

Our driver Roy is one of the best tour guides we have met. He is not only a good driver but also a good guide, and his explanation was polite and easy to understand. Before visitting to Newgrange, we visited to Monasterboice, Mellifont Abbey and Slane. As we were both over 60, private tour was so good for our pace.

My whole family enjoyed the tours very much. We would not have found many of the sites on our own. Everything from booking, preparing, to the day of wa very convenient
