We had an amazing day with Miguel. Peña Palace and surrounds were some of the most breathtaking sights I’ve ever seen - the tour was worth it for that alone! (Photos can’t even capture the it!) Miguel was warm, engaging and informative. There was also a great balance between time with the group and free time which allowed an opportunity to take in Sintra - sample the pastries and sit and enjoy a coffee. We also had time for a leisurely lunch also and to even visit the beach in Cascais! It was an incredibly memorable day. Thank you Miguel!

Tour of Sintra and Cascais and Pena Palace
Miguel Franklim was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the history of the Portugal area extremely well and gave us a perfect amount of time to explore on our own!

Pena palace, Cascais and lighthouse tour
Our guide Bruno was excellent. Well versed in the history of the sights we visited and more. He was able to answer our questions with interesting insights and details. I highly recommend asking for Bruno when doing this tour.
The sights we visited were a mixed bag, with some places more beautiful than others. I enjoyed the seaside cliff views and the more natural places we visited. Peña palace was okay but I thought its upkeep could have been better. Overall I’ll give the guide a 5 star and the tour itself a 4 star.

Outstanding tour with Franklin
Franklin was an outstanding guide, full of personality and enthusiasm. Very knowledgeable about Portuguese history, economic, culture. The tour was lively and well done.

Franklim was a star!
Starting near the Hard Rock Cafe in Lisbon we were excited to visit the wonderful places in the itinerary. Franklin was our guide. He was amazing and right from the start made sure he not only introduced himself but also asked about each member of the group. He was able to explain about the history and interesting facts about all the places we visited. He even prepared us for the climb and walk, made sure the group stayed together and kept the pace manageable when some of us struggled. His patience and enthusiasm for his job really shines through. 5 stars for Miguel Franklim.

Great tour option
Miguel Franklin was great! Very funny and knowledgeable. His driving was great and he even got us to avoid some crowded areas and lines because of his expertise

Very pleasant driving and...
Very pleasant driving and the town visits were all excellent. Very nice balance of town walking, sight-seeing, natural areas, and also shopping and lunch.

Perfect Day
Miguel, knowledgeable in history and well connected within the community, has made this tour impeccable, from the penalized small-group conversations to ensuring the group secure the front of the line without losing any time of exploration. I needed to use the restroom at lighthouse area but didn’t have cash, Miguel generally gave me coin to use… I am very grateful for this wonderful tour. Quinta de regaleira is definitely the highlight.
