We really enjoyed the tour - we are glad we used a tour for this - doing it in your own for this would be a nightmare with all of the hills and the tour made it so easy. Our tour guide Miguel was super fun and made it a fun day.
Miguel Franklin led a great tour and I was amazed with the sights! I didn’t have to worry about anything except being at our designated spots on time. Crowds were manageable for me but it did rain. Our visit to Quinta da Regeleira and Sintra was my favorite portion of the trip.
Miguel was so knowledgeable and engaging - we had a great day!

My wife and I took this tour with Miguel (Franklin) our guide and he was one of the best tour guides we have had. He perfectly blended history with personal stories. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip. He brought the entire group together so we all learned from each other. As a Sintra native he had great recommendations for the surrounding areas and we ended up some spending some extra time there.

My fiancée and I decided to book a tour on Viator so we could see Pena Palace, the Initiation Stairwell at Quinta da Regaleira and Copa da Roca, and we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Miguel. Miguel was personable, lively and knew his history. I learned so many things from him during the tour. On top of that, there was a point at which we got lost from the group at Quinta da Regaleira and Miguel was persistent in helping to locate us and continue with the tour. And I really appreciated how timing/logistics worked with everything. The day was an early start but we ended up avoiding the large crowds at Pena Pace and by the time we were at Initiation Stairwell shortly after, there was no line at all. Would definitely recommend this tour to you!
