Good half day side trip to see small fishing villages near San Sebastián and across from the French border.

Ibai, our guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He explained really well the history of the towns and countryside we visited. He was also interested in our small group of 3. There was time for us to look around a couple of the stops as he moved the car to pick us up. Great tour to learn more about the area.

Booked this last minute. Host was great - lots of knowledge about the local area and Spanish history in general. Tour was a bit quick - could do with extending time in Hondarribia to an hour to allow both a wander round and ability to get a drink/snack. But great way to see that part of the local area.

If you go to San Sebastián for the first time, after seeing the essential areas and eating a variety of pintxos, it is essential that you go to Hondarribia, a medieval town, very beautiful and perfectly preserved.

We enjoyed learning more about the Basque region and seeing the different smaller towns and countryside.

Excellent trip to these 3 beautiful towns and to the top of a local mountain where there are native ponies. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and made sure we didn't miss a thing. Highly recommend.

We did a tour around Hondarribia, San Juan, and San Pedro with Iker who was a wonderful tour guide. We learned so much about Basque Country and have a new found appreciation for the area! Would recommend tour with Iker!

Our half-day tour from San Sebastián through Hondarribia, Pasajes de San Juan, and Pasai San Pedro with Viktor was fantastic. It was such a pleasure to experience these beautiful places, take in the spectacular scenery, and spend time with the lovely horses along the way. Viktor did an excellent job of explaining, educating, and inspiring us, and we were especially impressed by the breadth of his knowledge about the places, people, and history of the Basque Country. We thoroughly enjoyed Viktor’s thoughtful and engaging style. He happily answered all of our questions while keeping the tour moving at a comfortable and enjoyable pace. Our entire family, ranging from our 11-year-old daughter to an 80-year-old, found Viktor smart, insightful, personable, and an all-around excellent guide. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!
