Guided tour of the Guggenheim was sensational. However the Instructions for the meeting point should be clearer and more specific. Instead of simply stating the meeting point is at the entrance (there are several entrances), the instructions should tell people to meet the guide at the information desk inside the main entrance.
We were lucky to experience a really great guide in the form of Nora(28). She was not only knowledgeable on the history of Bilbao but the background of the Guggenheim, its history and the foundation. Her knowledge & passion for art was wonderful to experience. Thank you Mark & Kathleen
We had a great experience with our guide Miguel. We met at the bottom of the steps at the entry point to the museum. He promptly got the entry tickets and we were on our way. He gave a brief review of the city prior to building of the Guggenheim and the great urban recovery experienced after the museum opened. He was very informative and animated and describing some of the art pieces and installations once inside the museum. I highly recommend Miguel as a tour guide.

Our guide Nora was friendly, extremely knowledgeable. She shared fascinating stories not just about the modern art inside, but also about the history of the building and the local area. Nora seemed to ensure the pace of the tour was just right—never feeling rushed, with plenty of time to take in the stunning design and exhibits. Would highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the museum.

Our guide was wonderful once we got together. The only hiccup that we had was the meeting place. In writing, the meeting place was across the street. We went there. Our guide called and changed it to inside the building. In our haste to get there, I tripped, fell and skinned my knee and hands. Ugh.
Nora is an excellent museum guide. She is knowledgeable, well spoken, very professional, and fun. A+++. We enjoyed our Guggenheim Bilbao tour 8/28.
