Brilliant walking tour through Chandi Chowk and Old Delhi with Rikesh. A combination of history, combined with spiritual including a visit to the Gurdwara, cycle rickshaw journey and then into the crazy maze of backstreets that make up Chandni Chowk ending at the vibrant spice market. A very enjoyable morning and Rikesh was a very personable guide.
Ritesh knows the history of India and Delhi really well and tells the stories in a most engaging way. He brings to life the sights so they become even more memorable. We had a good tour round the Red Fort and part of the old market. He was also very flexible in accommodating our group’s diverse requests and adept at making arrangements. It’s my second time touring with Ritesh and I would engage him if visiting Delhi again.

5 people attended and the group dynamic was lovey. Our lady guide (sorry forgot name) was just perfect. Good balance of history and information. She adapted the route based on preference and we walked the streets with confidence amongst the rickshaws. Visited the spice markets. Saw wedding dresses along the lanes and ate from recommended places along the way. All things I wouldn’t have done or tried on my own. The very busy Start point was actually easy to find - when you know you know! But I would not have liked to do this without the help of our taxi driver.

Honestly had a really great time! Ritesh made the whole experience feel super natural and fun instead of just a regular guided walk. He shared a lot of interesting stories and local details that made the city feel much more alive. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that energy made the experience even better. You're a fool if you don't book this tour with Ritesh! An absolute lovely human being who is very knowledgeable about the areas you visit. Not only is the tour fantastic by merit of the interesting things you see and eat, Ritesh has great connections all over old Delhi and he truly treats those people right and helps to support them. We really enjoyed our tour with Ritesh, it was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Delhi. Ritesh is a wonderful guide and gave us valuable insights on the history, culture and religions of India. From the visits to the temples, the tour of the market and the stops to try street food, the tour is definitely a must for everyone who wants to know more about Delhi. And having a woman as a guide is a plus and a privilege!
