We had an extraordinary tour, deep into old Delhi. To places where an ordinary tourist usually does not go, Raj showed us the heart and soul of Delhi. Many thanks for the diverse explanations, background presentations, and connections of the Indian soul. You can feel his love for his hometown, and he knows how to convey this passion excellently. Varun was an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and food was spectacular. He starts the tour treating you like a friend and ends the tour making you feel like a personal guest in an authentic home. All of the food we tasted was delicious and the meal provided at the end exceeded all expectations. Varun did a great job catering to my needs being a celiac/gluten free person and made sure I enjoyed my time as well. He has a passion for his work and it shows.

You are told at the beginning that you are with a local friend, not a guide - and walking around Old Delhi with Varun felt like that. We sampled delicious foods and treats, walked through the narrow streets, visited several houses of worship, and gained wonderful insights about local culture and history. Our tour was just two of us - one who had spent a lot of time in Delhi, and the other who was new, and we both enjoyed it and learned new things. Definitely recommend to others! We were part of small group of 10 & had an amazing tour of Old Delhi with Varun. He was so thoughtful, energetic & knowledgeable about Old Delhi. Throughout the tour we tasted LOTS of street food & NO ONE became unwell. We were in amongst all the noise, smells, chaos & all that Old Delhi had to offer. We loved it all + had a ride on the bicycle rickshaw + the iconic green & yellow tuk tuk. A fantastic tour & at all times felt very safe. We ended with a beautiful home cooked meal in a private home.
