It was a great experience, I don’t know if I would book this company again for hot air balloons. I’d pass on the cave dinner, as the food was terrible. Highlights were the Teotihucan tour bc Suzanne (tour guide) was awesome and left us on a great note. I was fortunate the communication with the driver was quick, and there are so many people involved to make this happen, gotta give them the credit they deserve. My gripes with the tour company was: LACK OF COMMUNICATION The night before we were originally supposed to meet at 4:30AM, I got a message at 10PM the night before that it changed to 3:40AM?!?! We were already asleep, so I woke up at 4 to messages saying my driver had left. Luckily they ended up having us meet at Angel of Independence, but it would’ve been appropriate to tell us the pick up time had changed way earlier. I also wished there was a message advising us what to wear, because I did my own research on to wear layers, but for the Teotihucan tour, I was not prepared for how hot it’d be. ASSIGNED SEATING ON SHUTTLE When we got there, they had us in assigned seating on the shuttle. I sat right behind the driver and had no leg room (I’m 5’1 btw). It was so uncomfortable for the long ride there and back. NO SUNRISE VIEWS Also bc the sun rised earlier in June + overcast, the hot air balloon ride had a gray overcast. If you’re looking to do a real sunrise tour, I would book with the hot air balloon company individual.
I'd a mixed experience. First the cost - I paid £180, which seemed to be inflated from the £110 advertised, I assume due to the World Cup. The balloon ride was great and so smooth, with amazing views. The cave breakfast was also fun. A big negative was that I paid extra for transport to and from the site. On the way back, I was left off 40 mins from my hotel as apparently the roads were busy. I'd to walk several miles in the blistering heat. So felt a bit cheated at being charged for transport. Ive attached a map to show where I was left and where my hotel 'drop off' was
Great experience. Didn't have to worry about transportation from my hotel. The air balloon was fun. The tour was really good with tour guide Pancho. Very informative and fun person.
There was a lot of waiting around before and after the hot air balloon tour and it seemed very unorganized. We didn't see sunrise, but were picked up at 4:15 am. Also, we flew nowhere near the pyramids- you could only see them from a distance. The photos are very misleading since we expected to fly right over them. You can see in the photo- that was the closest we got to them.
Hello, we are sorry to hear you had a poor experience. On the day of your flight, the wind was stronger than usual, which is why we couldn't take off at sunrise; this also affected the balloon's flight path. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee a view directly over the pyramids, though they can be seen during the flight (which did happen in your case). Regarding the photos, since that is an additional service, I am not sure what the objection is.
We had a great experience on the hot air balloon! Pick up time was as communicated and we were collected from our hotel and driven to the departure location. Refreshments, toilets and seating provided while we waited to be driven to the area to get into the balloons. We had our photos taken and drone footage captured which was really good to have. The journey itself was very cool, well organised and landed safely, then given a glass of bubbles! The views of the balloons across the skyline was spectacular.

I had a great time! Everything was super easy and everyone was super nice!
The actual tour was great, I had no complains. The only thing i would recommend is that reply to my messages that i sent in viator like a week before the reservation. And maybe give a bottle of water when we got to the van during pick up.
ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES, the service and the people 💯💯💯 Everything is truly highly recommended.
