Driver was prompt. Vehicle was clean. He drove safely and delivered exactly on time to the proper location for our ship. He communicated via text prior to the pickup. Would recommend this company for an easy ride to the South hampton port from London.

The pickup was late. We missed our boarding window on the ship. There wasn’t room for luggage in the back we hadn’t all sit riding backwards as others were added to the trip late and were on the transfer when we were picked up Also said the trip duration was 90 minutes but took 2.5 hours on a Saturday

Regarding the journey duration, the distance between Central London and Southampton Cruise Port is approximately 85 miles. Under normal traffic conditions, the journey typically takes around 2 to 2.5 hours. We do not advertise this route as a 90-minute transfer, as such a journey time would not be realistic given the distance and typical London traffic conditions. For this journey, a Mercedes V-Class vehicle was provided and operated within the advertised capacity of the shared shuttle service. The vehicle carried a maximum of six passengers, as stated in the product description, and luggage was accommodated accordingly. We are also concerned by the comment regarding the boarding window. As Southampton cruise terminals generally recommend arriving well in advance of embarkation deadlines, passengers should allow sufficient travel time based on the actual journey duration of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. We cannot comment on where the 90-minute estimate originated, as this is not information provided by our company or within our product description. We arranged for a private trip from London to Southhampton. I then got an email the night before saying the pick up has changed from the time I set to 45 min earlier because we need to pick up two more people. What? Next morning we go from Marriott to another location to pick up 2 more people with already my family of 4. Van is packed with zero room for 2 hours. Then joins arrival driver doesn’t know where to go even though we were asked for ship name on our reservation. On top of that we had to go to another location and drop off this other couple. Trip took extra hour and was over 400 pounds. Private limo would have been 500 pounds and half the time. Don’t use this service contact black lane. You can bet we have booked them for trip back to London after this experience.

As part of this service, passengers may share the vehicle with another group travelling on the same date. To ensure comfort, we limit our shuttle vehicles to a maximum of two groups of travellers and no more than six passengers in total, despite the vehicle having a higher seating capacity. The vehicle assigned for your journey was a licensed passenger van designed to accommodate this service. Because this is a shared service, pickup times may occasionally be adjusted to allow the collection of other passengers booked on the same route. Likewise, door-to-door service means that passengers may have different cruise terminals or hotels within the Southampton port area, which can require additional stops along the way. We would also like to clarify that the total amount paid for this booking was £291.68, rather than the £400+ mentioned in the review. Our shuttle transfer service was specifically created to provide a more affordable alternative to private transfers while still offering a door-to-door service. Customers who prefer a dedicated vehicle with direct transportation and no additional pickups or drop-offs can choose one of our private transfer services, which are also available on Viator website. As Southampton can accommodate multiple cruise ships across different terminals on the same day, drivers will always verify the cruise ship name or terminal with the customer upon arrival to avoid any confusion. The transfer was crowded. We had seven adults in the van and it was tight. The driver was not personable and seemed hurried.

Natalia Christina drove us from Pimlico in London to Southampton today. I received an email with her contact and car info and she texted as she was in transit to our flat. It was an easy and uneventful trip. She was both professional and a smooth driver. It was very nice to be able to relax traveling through the nasty London strike traffic!
