Great food at awesome places with fantastic guide!
Giovanna was our guide and she was delightful. She was friendly, knowledgeable and great fun to be around. The food and drinks were delicious but watch out for the cachaca - rocket fuel! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Filling and Fun Food tour...
My family and I had a wonderful time with Giovana. The meeting point was easy to find and the others in our group became fast friends. Giovana showed us streets we would have never seen otherwise and talked to us about the experience of nightlife. The food was excellent; she frequently pronounced the items for us so we were able to recognize the food we had the rest of our visit to Rio. Filling and fun!!

We had an absolutely...
We had an absolutely amazing experience on our food tour, and so much of that was because of our guide, Filipe! He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the entire experience fun and engaging. His English was excellent, which was such a breath of fresh air for us Americans traveling in Brazil. 😍
Filipe did an amazing job explaining not only the food, but also the culture and history behind what we were experiencing. He was patient with all of our questions and, even after the tour, followed up with us to answer additional questions we had. That level of care really stood out!
We left the tour feeling like we had experienced so much more than just great food—we learned, laughed, and got a genuine taste of Brazil. We would absolutely recommend this tour, and especially Filipe, to anyone visiting Rio. Ask for Filipe—you won’t be disappointed! 🇧🇷❤️🍽️

Lapas Food Tour

Evening exploring
We had a fun tour in areas of Rio that we would never go to ourselves. Delicious snacks, but not enough of them.

Girls Trip in Rio
Filipe was a great guide. Super helpful and fun! We enjoyed the tour in Lapa and had a great experience learning about the neighborhood, tasting local food, and especially drinking Caipirinha !!

Fantastic afternoon tour
Great tour with Filipe, perfect mix of food stops, drink stops and sights. He was absolutely lovely about the fact that I’m Pescatarian and was able to easily take that into account. Highly recommend if you want an authentic Brazilian experience .

Nightlife in Lapa
Lapa night life was an awesome experience! Our tour guide Filipe was AMAZING! We had great food, drinks and laughs, and met some wonderful people along the way. This tour was with every penny, I highly recommend. If you choose to book be sure to request Filipe as your guide, you won’t be disappointed!
