Our guide Johanna was very interesting and we enjoyed talking to her. The first tapas bar we visited was overcrowded; we stood against the wall but some of our group was not close enough to the guide to hear her over the noise of the bar. They also did not have the tapas our guide expected. The venues got better as the evening went on. We especially enjoyed the cheese charcuterie and the restaurant where the owners made their own vermouth. We enjoyed trying the 3 different flavors. We asked for a vegetarian tour and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Fun night!
This is a really fun experience and we tried so many good foods and drinks! The neighborhood was really cool and everywhere we went highlighted something different.

Great tour with great food
We had a great experience before and during the tour. The guide was very nice and the selection of food spots was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

Hanging with the locals
Our private food tour felt like we were visiting our friend in Barcelona who took us to her local favorites. It did not feel like any place was touristy but that we were truly hanging with locals with the opportunity to try food at several places. While it had seemed difficult on our own to decipher what was vegetarian at restaurants (even when marked “v” not always the case!) but with our guide we didn’t have to think about anything. Delicious food and a great experience! The Garcia neighborhood was also a cool vibe and we are looking forward to recreating the tasty local drink we tried at home (as best we can!)
