We booked this tour after our cruise ship excursion for the same day was cancelled. We have never used local tours (vs cruise ship excursions) until this trip, but we were really looking forward to a small-boat tour while in Sicily, so we took a chance. It paid off beyond our wildest expectations! Alessandro reached out to us before our tour to discuss specifics, and we appreciated that his communication with use was extensive. Based on our conversation, he offered us the option of a private boat tour at additional cost so we could have the kind of tour we were envisioning. This wasn’t just an “upsell”… he literally created the tour of our dreams! We mentioned having lunch with scenic view and he reserved beautiful restaurant overlooking Isola Bella. Our private boat captain showed us the caves and took us to the most beautiful spot where we swam in the Mediterranean Sea while we drank Prosecco poured into our flutes from the boat. Later Marissa showed us around Taormina for some shopping. They even had karaoke set up in the van for the ride back. This was hands down one of the best stops on our trip, and we will definitely book with Alessandro and Marissa when we return to Sicily!

Paria our guide was amazing. She was so enjoyable to spend the day with. The minibus was so comfortable and we had an excellent driver.

We contacted Booking Sicily Tours at 10:00 p.m. the night before our cruise arrived in Messina, hoping to arrange transportation for 11 people to Taormina, the beach, and back to the port. Alessandro responded immediately, and by the next morning he had secured a vehicle large enough for our group. Our guide, Marissa, was absolutely incredible. She went far beyond simply providing transportation. She arranged beach chairs, an umbrella, and even towels at a beach club, then made lunch reservations at an air-conditioned restaurant where we were seated immediately upon arrival. Throughout the day, she made everything effortless and stress-free. Marissa also took photos of our group and shared them with us afterward, giving us wonderful memories to take home. What we expected to be just transportation turned into one of the highlights of our cruise. The exceptional service and attention to detail made our day unforgettable. I can’t recommend Booking Sicily Tours enough! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Our guide Marissa was the BEST!! She kept the energy flowing and she was very informative about the city and region and places to eat and shop which were more “local” and family run. Also very flexible to change the order of things so we could cool off in the ocean after touring in the heat. Taormina is colorful and beautiful. It was great to have a private vehicle for our group of ten friends and our driver, Domenica, was also very nice. Only one negative was the beach we went to was not so nice. We should have stayed with Isola Bella but guide recommended a different beach with less stairs, but still many stairs. Beach was littered and stairs had a bad smell. We did a quick dip to cool off but did not stay long. Overall still a great day!!

Hana our tour guide and Francisco our driver were wonderful! They met us at the port and took us to Isola Bella, where we had the opportunity to go swimming. From there, we headed to Taormina and enjoyed pizza, wine and a limoncello spritz at an amazing Italian restaurant. They then took us to Messina, where they treated us to delicious cannolis and visited the stunning cathedral and to see the famous astronomical clock. Throughout the day, they were incredibly flexible with the schedule, allowing us to explore at our own pace and tailoring the experience to our interests. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate our preferences made the day truly memorable. I would highly recommend Hana and Francisco to anyone looking for a fantastic and personalized experience.

Great Communication and flexible to adjust the private tour a little when one guest was having back issues and trouble with stair offered an alternative that was excellent

Had the best day in Taormina with our tour guide Federica and driver Fulvio. We had a private walking tour around Tairmina town. They arranged for a lunch right by the Sea. Then we were able to walk down to the Isola Bella beach area. Wish we had water shoes because it was all rocks! I would definitely recommend a tour with them.

Alessandro was fantastic. I’m from New Orleans , booked him on a recommendation from the group I am in. Combination was quick and he was always accommodating. Setup out entered day and I didn’t have to spend anytime planning for Messina and and Taormina , he didn’t all from Boat tour to shopping and eating, don’t think twice .

Alberto is a fantastic host. We absolutely loved our tour of Taormina and Issa Bella. Highly recommend his company, this was the highlight of our 7 day cruise.
