⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Ben for a San Diego tour! I first met Ben at an art walk tour, where he told me about his tour services, and I knew I had to check one out. Having lived in San Diego for three years, I couldn’t believe how little I actually knew about the city’s history! We met Ben at a convenient park downtown for the Little Italy tour, and from the beginning, everything was easy — easy to find, an enjoyable walk, and such a great way to experience the neighborhood. Ben was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much history and interesting information that I honestly regretted not taking one of his tours sooner. What I especially appreciated was the personal experience. Because Ben operates his own tours, it felt much more personable and authentic than being part of a large corporate tour group. You can really tell that he cares about San Diego and about giving people a great experience. If you’re visiting San Diego — or even if you’ve lived here for years like I did — I would definitely recommend taking a tour with Ben. You’ll learn something new and see the city in a completely different way!

Really enjoyed wandering through Gaslamp and Little Italy via the waterfront with Ben - a great intro to SD neighborhoods. The tour has interesting facts and covers a lot with some fun dad jokes thrown in. Ben is super friendly and provided extra suggestions for my stay. Can also recommend the North Park tour!

Ben is an excellent guide. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic and engaged WITH us rather than simply talking AT us. He pointed out lots of things that we'd have missed under our own steam and we learnt so much about San Diego. Ben has a very nice manner and the time whizzed by. We were so impressed with him on this tour that we booked his North Park tour a couple of days later which we'd also highly recommend.

This history walking tour is an amazing and unique experience to experience the rich culture of San Diego. Ben, our guide, is fantastic and full of knowledge that we were to fully appreciate this experience. It was my first time visiting San Diego and after the experience I felt I had a great grasp of the city. I was so pleased with Ben that I ended up doing a street art tour and a vegan food tour of the North Park neighborhood. Ben is a great guide and his tour are a must do when visiting San Diego.
