Excellent tour, highly recommended 10/10 🙏🏻

A very bad and disappointing experience. The staff was very unpleasant when my friend told the captain that the seats were dirty. Not only the seats, the life jackets that you are required to wear could not be any dirtier. In fact, they barely clean the boat between one excursion and another. They reuse the entire snorkel tubes, including the mouthpiece; so much so that in my tube I found some black hairs and my friend found lipstick from the people who had used them previously. The photographer didn't even come near us to take our pictures, nor did he ask us if we wanted any. He only went to the girls he felt like, and because of that, we don't have any souvenir like other people who did have them taken. At the end of the trip, the guide Elias goes one by one asking for a tip, and if you don't give it to him, they ask you if they don't deserve it, as if it were mandatory after paying for the excursion where all these services are included. I would not go back with them.

The tour is very complete, but what I want to highlight is the top notch service we got! Mike, Raúl and Luis went above and beyond and made the experience amazing. If you are looking for an adventure where safety is a priority but also where you are treated really well, don’t hesitate and book your tour with Lobo Marino.

The tour is very well organized, it is a highly recommended experience. The guides are friendly and very well prepared people and they show it. You feel safe at all times, both on the boat and in the water. The tour offers the possibility of seeing different animals such as turtles and starfish, but, from the beginning they let it be known that this is not always possible, because it depends a lot on the weather and the water conditions. We were very lucky, had a good time and the water was very calm and totally clean. It was crystal clear water and the animals looked perfect: turtles, stars, hundreds of fish and even several sharks. The tour has several stops and in each of them the goal is to be able to see different animals, so there is really the possibility to see different marine fauna. In addition, at the last stop a small snack is offered in a beach area full of striped blankets. If you are a person used to diving, this excursion may be limited, but if you are a beginner or do not dive, you will definitely enjoy it.

This snorkeling tour is just ok and not super impressive The day we went was windy and wavy, so rougher conditions. Prior to booking we confirmed we would be able to use a ladder on the boat. This was not the case- you have to jump in the water and only use the ladder to get out. Just FYI if bringing older people who may not be able to climb over a side of the boat. El Cielito is amazing in itself with the clear blue water and we saw a few stingrays. On the ride back the driver went way too fast for our comfort level. The waves were very high and he was speeding past everyone. I couldn’t wait to get off the boat. I would definitely not recommend this tour for young children or older people.

Very nice day. Drink and dinner. A friendly captain and guide. Good music on the boat. We've seen a huge turtle, a small shark, several rays and so on. I recommend.

My mother and I went on the tour of Colombia and Palancar Reef, followed by El Cielo and El Cielito. Our boat was with Fernando (captain and cook), Elias (guide and host), and Mike (guide and photographer). Both reefs were stunning, with lots of colourful fish and corals, and a sea turtle too. I believe we visited the reefs for about 45-60 minutes, then headed to El Cielo for the starfish which are very easy to spot and only a few meters below, where we stayed about 30 minutes. Finally, El Cielito is a restful last stop where it’s easy to wander along the shallow sandbar and see large stingrays pass by. Fernando made a delicious meal of ceviche with totopos and fresh pineapple, jicama, and mandarin slices. The tour was a bit unusual to book as we booked through our hotel with a different company, and were then grouped with people from this tour company instead. We had been told that the group would be 12-14 people, I would say we were closer to 20. That being said the other people on the tour were very friendly, and we received a reasonable rate from the hotel so I feel that the price was reasonable for the tour. In terms of safety they checked to ensure who preferred to have a life jacket while in the water (life jackets mandatory on boat for obvious reasons), and the two life preservers in the water were used by those who had particular difficulty with the swimming (there was a very young child with us, and some who got tired after the first reef). For those with a bit more skill we were allowed to dive down, which I particularly enjoyed. I certainly wish I would have been lucky enough to see a shark and an eagle ray during the tour, but I’ll just have to come back another year! :) At the end we were offered to purchase photos from our trip, Mike was very focused on making sure all guests were included in the photos. Mike and Elias even made sure to help my mom get an underwater photo with the starfish, and the photo turned out great. On my end, as someone who’s never had photos while I was diving, it was a really nice treat. They cost 1200 pesos, or for me about 100$ CAD. Overall good selection of sites, nice meal, and appropriate safety depending on your skills and comfort level. Would recommend!

What a great adventure. The crew was great. Snacks and beverages were good. Would do again to see different sea creatures. Weather and seas can vary. Boats go pretty fast and the ride can be bumpy. I say this since some folks bring small children.

We were very well served by Captain Fernando, the guide Elías and Valeria the photographer. Very helpful and prepared a rich ceviche, a plate of fruit and jicama, moles and drinks for everyone. Family of 17 members, all happy with the walk and see stars, sharks, manta rays, and many colorful fish. We enjoy!!!
