This is such a unique twist to an activity in town. We like to do cooking classes at each new city , but this time - we opted to make sangria. The idea seems simple enough , but Alvaro creates such a fun atmosphere and learning experience too. You will enjoy the entertainment and his personality ! It seems weird getting there , off the path with no real signage. It’s directly across from “3” building. It’s a small quaint bar but you can feel the passion in his work instantly ! You’ll get delicious tapas ( bread , cheese and meat ) to soak up your sangrias. I was full after eating them.

Best Sangria Class Ever!
The absolute best sangria class! I’ve taken 3 Sangria classes in Barcelona and this is by far the best. The instruction, attention to detail, and knowledge Alvaro has is hard to replicate! My family and I had the best time and highly recommend putting this on your Barcelona itinerary!

Must do!
The favorite part of our trip. Great guy Alvaro. He’s very personable and we had great conversation. He taught us how to make 3 different sangrias. All super delicious! Afterwards, he served us some bread, meats and cheese. Delicious! Cozy bar! Must do while in Barcelona!

Amazing experience and really fun!!
This was an amazing experience. Alvaro was an incredible host and explained everything about the Sangria and the history. We will be using our new education in the US for our friends and family to enjoy! Please visit his bar it is something very special. “Chulapio cocktails and Crepes” you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent Sangria Masterclass!
My friend and I booked this amazing Sangria Masterclass and it didn't disappoint. We had a group of five and he provided knowledgeable details on the ratio of ingredients along with the history of Sangria recipes.

Great fun and learned a lot about making Sangria-will definitely allow us to up our game. Alvaro is a great teacher; his bar is a respite in an incredible city--totaly worth finding for tapas, crepes, and drinks.

Great class!
Alvaro, the man pictured, is phenomenal! He teaches 3 different types of sangria and how to adjust the recipe for different taste palates. He is patient, kind and knowledgeable. His bar is spotlessly clean which is important to me. I would highly recommend this class. It is located in the Gothic area so leave time to walk because the roads are very narrow and a taxi will not be able to drop you at the door.

A must when in Barcelona!
A must! If you do nothing else in Barcelona do this Sangria class. It was fun, informative and delicious. We learned so much and had a great time. And the food after was amazing!! We made 3 differebt Sangrias and also received the recipes.
