This was a marvelous tour, Curt was the best, so knowledgeable and FUNNY! I was with a small group, including several of my friends, and we all had the best time! My first time in NYC, this tour gave us an inside look at little known things about the city. And the food was EXCELLENT! I would recommend this tout to anyone, whether your first time in the city or a seasoned visitor.

Kurt was an outstanding guide!! He entertained our small group fully from start to finish. He had hilarious anecdotes that had everyone in stitches! He looked out for everyone’s well-being and was extremely knowledgeable of the area. Our dinner & dessert were delicious, & he highlighted many other options for future reference.

Kurt is incredibly dynamic and absolutely hilarious. 10/10 tour guide. Got a great walking tour of Greenwich. If you’re not from the area and want a little glimpse of NYC life, with great stories and commentary, while still feeling incredibly safe and well guided, book with Kurt!

He took us to places only a local would know of including Fabulous local restaurants ,neighborhoods and historic landmarks we never would have found on our own. One of the best things to do in NYC - without a doubt! I booked a tour for my daughter and her friend as a gift. Curt was soooo helpful, friendly, funny and knowledgeable they were over the moon and the session really helped to set them up with important knowledge about the city generally. I can’t recommend Curt enough, I will be booking a tour for myself when I am back next.

Curt was an expert tour guide! He knew the neighborhood and the people. He has a wealth of knowledge of the past and current history of Greenwich Village! All the food was top notch!

We did the Historic Washington Square Park and Greenwich Village Food Tour as a private group, and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in NYC. It was just my family—my parents, my sister, and me (we’re in our mid-to-late 20s)—and having the private format made a big difference. It kept us engaged the whole time and allowed our guide Curt to really tailor the experience to us. And Curt was amazing. From the start, he was warm, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. He had the perfect mix of historical insight and hilarious storytelling—we were laughing and learning the entire time. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed what he does, and that energy was contagious. He picked up on what we were most interested in and shaped the tour around it, which made it feel so much more personal and fun. The pace was relaxed, the food stops were delicious, and the Village’s history came to life through Curt’s stories.
