Cindy was great. High energy, friendly, funny, and she knows EVERYONE in Greenwich Village! She shared lots of interesting history of the area and NYC in general. The food ranged from good to great.

I did this tour with our host, Marie. From the start, I knew this was going to be a terrific three hours. Marie is passionate about this tour and it reflects in her energy and excitement. She really did an outstanding job in showing us the hidden treasures of Greenwich Village. There is so much to learn and understand about the history of the area and she was a wealth of knowledge. However, it was the food that really made this experience outstanding. I’m a foodie and what we sampled was perfect. You cannot do this tour without sampling at Joe’s Pizza. Being a pizza connoisseur, this is an absolute must. A huge high 5 to Murray’s Cheese Shop where we started. The mac & cheese was to die for. Across the street we sampled these divine tacos and guac with a fabulous watermelon drink. I could not leave without topping it up with a margarita. Definitely these places will be on my list to repeat when I’m in NY, again. It was really nice to become more familiar with the neighborhood and all that it has to offer. Our group size was reasonable that we were all able to interact and give our feedback. Marie kept it flowing with relevant tips. I could not have signed up for a better tour, although the next day I did plan to attend the Chelsea market tour. Do check out my review on that. Overall, highly recommend signing up for one of these tours, if not more with this company. It’s well worth the price, but it is extremely enjoyable. To be repeated! Thanks Marie!!

Enjoyed the Tour. Chip was a great tour guide

We just took The Original Greenwich Food and Cultural Tour. Our guide, Bert, was excellent. Bert was personable, knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. The stops-7 of them were flavorful and quite enjoyable. This was an outstanding tour. I would highly recommend this tour. Great tour guide+delicious food=an incredible experience

We did the Original Greenwich Village Food & Cultural Tour with Bert as our guide, and it was fantastic from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly loves what he does. Between stops he gave us great history on the neighborhood, and it felt less like a tour and more like exploring the Village with a friend who knows everyone. The pacing was great, plenty of time to enjoy each tasting without ever feeling rushed. Murray’s mac and cheese was a standout, and Janie’s apple pie crust cookie was a total surprise favorite. Every single spot was worth it, and Bert made sure we understood the story behind each place, not just what we were eating. If you’re deciding whether to book, just do it, and ask for Bert if you can. Best few hours of our trip to NYC.

The food choice were varied and good. We loved the Italian salad on a real plate in a little room with AC! Our tour guide was too verbose. She knows a lot, but was disjointed in her stories - gave us too much info so we started tuning out. Just the salient details would be better. Also her attire could be improved upon - she was sloppily dressed. But she was extremely courteous and knowledgeable.

What an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the guide was so knowledgeable. All the stops were well planned and ready for us to visit. Bert was an incredible guide and had so many interesting facts and stories about the places we visited and the neighborhood in general. At the seated stops we were not rushed and had really nice conversations with other guests. We have been on many food tours and this was one of the best.
