This was a fantastic tour. Silvana is very knowledgeable about Sorrento history, mythology, architecture and food. The tour was personalized in a way I had not experienced. She was able to get entry into an incredible hotel and a venue where she was married. We walked through the historical part of town as she pointed out both the history and culture of the city.

It was a very good start to get acquainted with the culture, an overview of history while walking through the amazing narrow streets of Sorrento (passing through a gate dated to 9 BC on our way to Grand Marina). Getting to know the iconic artists who were an important part of Sorrento, Lucio Dalla, Sophia Loren, Enrico Caruso, Torquato Tasso, including our norwegian playwright, Henrik Ibsen. I also enjoyed listening to the mythology of the sirens. Overall, it was a really good start to get to know Sorrento on a friendly walk with Silvana.

She included marina grande in the tour which was great because I had not been there. I did have to cut my tour short because of illness but I really enjoyed it.
