ポンペイのマセルはフォーラムにあり、ポンペイの供給市場は古代都市の焦点の1つでした。建物はいくつかの段階で建設されました。西暦62年の地震でポンペイの大部分が破壊された時、マセラムも被害を受けました。
フォロ浴場はジュピター神殿の裏側にあり、新羅将軍（紀元前80年）が退役軍人の植民地を設立した直後の数年間にさかのぼります。女性用と男性用の部屋には別々の入り口がありました。男性用セクションには、テピダリウム（中温風呂用）、フリギダリウム（冷浴用）、カルダリウム（温浴用）としても使用されるアポディテリウム（更衣室）があります。ポンペイの多くの建物と同様に、西暦62年の地震で風呂は大きな被害を受けました。

広さ1,500平方メートルの大聖堂は、フォーラムで最も豪華な建物であり、そのスペースはビジネスの遂行と司法の運営に使用されていました。

Pompeii was amazing. It is a huge site and Lou-Lou was fabulous and got us through most of the site in the nice and not too hot weather. Vesuvius was fabulous but not for people who can’t walk up steep mountain at elevation! But WE DID IT! Woohoo!!! Our driver Apollolino was amazing on the crazy narrow roads!
A great excursion, just be warned that it is quite a trek to the top of the volcano !………………………………………
We recommend you read the itinerary carefully we assumed we would see the Garden of Familia however many tours fo not go there due to location and time constraints. That said the tour was well run and our guide Nello was very upbeat, provided verybdetailed information and instructiions and kept the group on time. We had a fabulous and informative day. Thankyou 😍
Overall the trip was good. Nello our guide was excellent and kept us entertained throughout the day. His organisation was excellent and the information he shared about the day and the different locations was very informative. Pompaii was interesting and we got there quite early to miss the crowds which had built up by the time we were leaving after 2 hours. My favourite bit was the visit and climb up to Vesuvius - the location and the view of The Bay of Naples is breathtaking. It is about a 20 - 30 minute hike up to the crater so those with difficulty walking may struggle. The day is roughly broken down to 1hr bus ride - 2hr tour of Pompaii - 1hr lunch at Pompaii - 30 mins bus to Vesuvius - 90 mins at Vesuvius - 75 mins bus ride back to Sorrento.
It was great not having to think once we got to the meeting spot, everything was taken care of. My only complaint is that the Pompeii tour group was way too big… we were in a group of over 30 people with one guide. This caused a lot of waiting for members of the group to catch up and we had to move very slowly through the ruins because of this. Had I known the tour group was going to be so big, I likely wouldn’t have booked this. Our time in Pompeii was under 2 hours which wasn't ideal. However, our tour guide, Max was great! And I still would absolutely recommend the service!
Important to go early before it gets really hot. Take hat, sunglasses and possibly shade umbrella for Pompei. The walk up Vesuvius is steep but manageable and a good activity for those who aren’t so interested in Pompei. So everyone gets something fun to do.
Well organised tour from start to finish and highly recommend. Nello was our guide and Louigi was our driver. Hiking poles for Mt Vesuvius would be handy as its 2klm mainly uphill (but worth it).
We had an amazing day viewing the ruins of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius our guide Nello did an excellent job. He was very friendly and very funny, taking us through the day to have a great outing. We would recommend it to others.
A great trip. Met at theeur office at tazzo square. There were a few different groups and trips but we were efficiently guided to our correct group. Given our headsets and tested them. Then walked 4 mins to the bus station as it's a big coach and too big for the square. The guide was good at Pompeii. Take good walking footwear as Pompeii has lots of uneven ground, I just wore trainers though. Then 1 hour free time for food. They arrange with a local eatery and area for the trip so for 18 euro we have a reserved seat with a set menu with a choice of mains and a scoop of ice cream and a soft drink rather than wander about town looking for somewhere. The pizza choice was massive for 1 person. Back to the air con bus and 3/4 the way up versivus then it's a steep slope up a pummice gravel path to the crater rim. Warning, there is only 1 bench on the path if you need to sit, unless you make it to the 3 shops near the top which have some seating, or rather a wall to sit on. You get just enough time to walk up have a look and walk down. It can be slippery on the loose pummice if you are in a rush to get down, it took 15 mins to get down. Really glad I did it. One reason I chose this trip was that it did the very hot Pompeii first in the morning and the vesuvius in the hotter afternoon as it's cooler up there. Some trips do it the other way around.
Full on day. Nelson was a great guide - knowledgeable but fun too. Made the day very enjoyable. Saw the highlight of Pompei - tine for lunch and then onto Vesuvius. Time for a walk up to the crater and some refreshments at the top. The driver for the day Luigi was amazing - how he navigated the bends I will never know!
