Easy to book and easy to find. We started late because there was a lot of confusion with passengers and the start time. Some passengers didn’t get the correct start time sent to them so we had to sit and wait, we were told we would get extra time till 430pm but we did not. I would have liked the extra time. Charlene was our tour guide and she was good. She explained many things to us. I would have liked more free time to explore the town.
Fabulous guide Jenny from JAT. Explained every historical building or monument so well and with enthusiasm. Walking pace was ideal for us in mid 70s. 5hr walking tour over cobbled streets including 2hrs free time. Perfect pick up and drop off right at ocean terminal building. Highly recommended.
We had been to several European ports during our cruise, but Bruges ended up being one of the places our family talked about the most afterward. The city has a wonderful atmosphere. Walking through the Historic Centre felt like stepping into a different period, with the old buildings, canals, cobblestone streets, and historic landmarks all close together. The children especially enjoyed the canals and the chocolate shops, while the adults appreciated the architecture and history. Market Square was a great place to spend some time together. We took plenty of family photographs and enjoyed looking around before continuing through the historic streets. The Basilica of the Holy Blood was also interesting because it gave us an opportunity to learn more about the history of Bruges rather than just visiting the obvious tourist areas. Of course, we couldn't visit Belgium without trying waffles and chocolate. Those stops ended up being some of the most talked-about moments in our family afterward! The biggest advantage for us was not having to constantly watch the clock and worry about how to get back to the cruise port. Knowing that the excursion was organized around the ship's schedule made the whole day feel much more relaxed. It was a great introduction to Bruges for our family, and we came away feeling that we had experienced a lot without having to rush through every moment.
Bruges was one of the places we had been looking forward to seeing during our cruise, and spending the day exploring the city was a lovely experience. We particularly enjoyed walking through the Historic Centre. There is something very charming about the combination of canals, old buildings, small streets, and historic squares. It was the kind of place where we wanted to slow down rather than simply check attractions off a list. Market Square was probably our favorite area. We spent time looking at the architecture, taking photographs, and enjoying the atmosphere. We also made sure to try some Belgian chocolate and waffles, which felt like an essential part of visiting Bruges. The Basilica of the Holy Blood added a different side to the day. The history and architecture gave us something interesting to explore between the more casual parts of the visit. As a couple traveling on a cruise, the biggest consideration was always the schedule. We wanted enough time in Bruges to actually enjoy ourselves while still being confident about returning to Zeebrugge before re-embarkation. Having the day organized around the cruise timetable made the experience considerably more relaxing. It was a memorable day with a good combination of sightseeing, local food, walking, photography, and free time. Bruges itself was the star of the experience, and the excursion provided a straightforward way to make the most of our limited time there.
Bruges was already high on our list of places to see, so we were excited when our cruise itinerary included a stop nearby. The excursion made the day very easy because transportation from the cruise terminal was arranged and we didn't have to figure out the logistics ourselves. Our guide was friendly and gave us a nice overview of the city's history and character. We enjoyed walking through the historic center, seeing the canals, and taking our time with photographs. Nothing felt excessively rushed. We particularly liked the two hours of leisure time. As a couple, we wanted some time to simply wander around together, choose somewhere for lunch, and browse the shops. Having that freedom made the experience feel more personal. The return to the port was well timed, and we arrived back comfortably before the ship's departure. For a cruise excursion, the combination of sightseeing, free time, comfortable transportation, and reliable timing worked very well for us.

We had a really enjoyable day visiting Bruges during our cruise stop. Traveling with family, our main concern was making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had enough time to see the city without constantly watching the clock. The pickup from the cruise terminal was straightforward, and the vehicle was comfortable and air-conditioned. Our guide was friendly and easy to talk to, and we appreciated having someone explain what we were seeing instead of simply walking around on our own. After the guided portion, we had around two hours of free time, which worked particularly well for our family. We could explore at our own pace, stop for lunch, browse the shops, and take plenty of photos. The return to the port was also well timed, which gave us peace of mind about getting back to the ship. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable way to spend our limited time in Bruges.
