A group of friends and I were looking for something that wasn't just a basic sightseeing drive, and this turned out to be a really fun way to experience Nassau. We got a good introduction to the city but also had enough time to actually relax and enjoy ourselves.
The stops at Parliament and Queen’s Staircase gave us some great photo opportunities, and Fort Charlotte was interesting to see as well. We liked that the day wasn't overloaded with one attraction after another. There was enough time to take pictures, look around, and listen to some of the local stories without constantly watching the clock.
Then came the beach, which was exactly what we wanted after walking around and sightseeing. We spent time swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the Caribbean atmosphere. The stop at Arawak Cay was another highlight because it gave us a chance to experience a different side of Nassau and check out the famous Fish Fry area.
The whole day had a relaxed feeling, which was important because we were on a cruise and didn't want to spend our shore day stressed about transportation. We came back with plenty of photos and some great memories.

Sightseeing, Sunshine and a Peaceful Afternoon
We really liked the balance of this excursion. As a couple traveling on a cruise, we wanted to see some of Nassau but didn't want to spend our entire port day following a strict schedule. This gave us a little bit of everything.
We started with sightseeing around some of the city's well-known landmarks. Queen’s Staircase was especially interesting, and we enjoyed seeing the Parliament area and Fort Charlotte. Our guide was helpful throughout the day and gave us information without turning everything into a long lecture.
After the sightseeing, having time at the beach was exactly what we needed. We were able to swim, sit in the sun, and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings together. It felt more like a vacation day than a checklist of attractions.
We also enjoyed visiting Arawak Cay and seeing the Fish Fry area. It added some local character to the day and was a nice change from the historical sights.
For us, the best part was not having to figure out transportation ourselves. Everything felt straightforward, and we could concentrate on enjoying our time in Nassau. It was a memorable day and a very nice addition to our cruise.

A Great Mix of Sightseeing and Beach Time
We had a really enjoyable day in Nassau with our family. Since we were visiting during a cruise stop, we wanted something that would let us see some of the city without spending the whole day rushing from one place to another. This worked out really well for us.
We visited several interesting places around Nassau, including the Parliament area, Queen’s Staircase, and Fort Charlotte. It was nice to hear some of the local history while also having plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. The guide kept the day relaxed and made sure we knew where we were going and how much time we had.
The beach portion was probably the favorite part for our family. After sightseeing, it was great to slow down, swim, sit in the sun, and just enjoy being in the Bahamas. We also enjoyed stopping around Arawak Cay and seeing the Fish Fry area. Having both sightseeing and relaxation in the same excursion made the day feel nicely balanced.
Most importantly for us as cruise passengers, we didn't feel rushed or worried about getting back to the ship. Overall, it was a fun and comfortable way to spend our time in Nassau.
