シントラの歴史的中心部は、千年前に設立された古代の主に歩行者専用の村です。ギリシャ人はシントラを「月の山」と呼び、今日でもまさにおとぎ話のような村です。 1995 年からユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。ここでは昼食のための自由時間があり (昼食代は含まれていません)、1862 年から存在する古いベーカリーで有名なトラヴェセイロをお楽しみください。これらは回転させて作る軽いパフペストリーです。 、7回巻いて折り、卵黄とアーモンドのおいしいクリームを詰め、軽く砂糖を振りかけます。シントラの町の代表的なお菓子、トラヴェセイロス・デ・シントラもお楽しみいただけます。
シントラに到着したら、山の頂上にあるポルトガルの七不思議の一つであるペナ宮殿を訪れ、大西洋、シントラ国立公園、モンセラーテ宮殿、セテアイス宮殿、ムーア城、リスボン、カスカイス。
シントラの文化的景観の中で最も驚くべき謎に満ちた記念碑の 1 つであるキンタ ダ レガイラに行きます。この有名で神秘的な場所には、エキゾチックな庭園、湖、滝、洞窟、フリーメーソンの建築物、そしてイニシエーションの井戸があります。

Fabulous day out on private tour with Pedro. Visited Ericeira surfing point, Mafa Palace and Peña castle at Sintra. Lovely forest around the castle. All absolutely stunning

We had booked a small group tour of Sintra and Pena Palace with Lisbon hotel pickup several weeks ahead and 2 hrs before hand that other tour group cancelled our excursion. We scrambled to find other arrangements and found this tour. Booking it with only an hour until pickup time, we were cautiously optimistic. Pedro immediately reached out and coordinated our private tour. An hour later Gustavo picked us up and gave us the best tour we could have imagined. He was polite, professional, knowledge, and his English was very good. He was eager to give us the experience we had hoped for. We got a trip beyond our expectations as he offered us alternatives of sites to see and catered our day to our energy level and interests, which would not have been the case on that original tour we'd booked with that other tour company. We had an authentic Portuguese lunch we will not soon forget. We take away not only great pictures of the local sites but fond memories or our day in Sintra and Cascais and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and rich history of Sintra and Portugal.

We booked this tour at the last minute. But an hour later Pedro was there to pick us up for a delightful day. We thought Pedro listened to what we wanted, shared plenty of background and details plus was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this tour.
