We had a wonderful day touring some of the beautiful sights of Northern Kefalonia: the nunnery where the patron St Gerasimus’ remains are, a Robillo vineyard to taste four delicious wines, the Drogerati caves, Melissani underground lake and a stunning viewpoint of the famous Myrtos beach. In addition to a comfortable, air conditioned coach, expertly driven by Mr Vangelis, our knowledgeable and amusing guide, Melanie, brought Kefalonian history, culture and food to life with her brilliant commentary. Lunch in Agia Effimia, in Finikas Taverna, was delicious and good value. We had the sardines and sea bream washed down by the local white wine. The return journey down the rocky west coast was dramatic. We can thoroughly recommend this trip.

Well rounded tour
Excellent well rounded tour. Booked last minute due to changes in the weather but still kept us well informed about pick up. Safe coach driver. Very informative tour guide in Melanie. Was still lovely even though it was raining. Beautiful cave lake.

Disappointed
Sadly this trip was quite disappointing. Granted it was a very rainy day but it didn't alter the content of the trip.
Pick up was great, guide appeared very welcoming. However she talked for the sake of talking. It was so much we stopped listening to the repeated information. We lost count of the times she told us to go to the toilet. To be constantly counted in and out of the bus felt like being back in school. Whilst I understand she had to be aware of who was in the coach, do it more subtly. The fist stop at the nunnery was interesting. The vineyard stop was literally just tasting, no talk about the process etc. it felt like we were there just to buy the product. Caves and lakes ok probably not enhanced by the poor weather. Lunch stop extremely disappointing. Food very mediocre. All in all we were glad to be back and left feeling like we wouldn't get that day back in our lives!!

"A Very Nice Day Out"
An excellent private group tour learning about the island.
Our driver/guide Chris was a font of knowledge. We appreciated how he flexed the itinerary to fit in our own requests (ice cream!) and also tlso we avoided long queues at the Lake.
Fascinating insights into so many aspects - culture, religion, geology, the impact of the 1953 earthquake, food & drink, modern and ancient history and a little mythology for good measure.
A nice touch to be able to try local snack, sweets, bread and wine.
A long day (8hrs) with lots of information shared, so probably a tour best suited to adults.

Enjoyable, informative and friendly tour.
Had a lovely day exploring the sites of Kefalonia, including the drogarati cave, melissani lake, the monastery, wine tasting at Rombola winery and Myrtos beach from above.
Melanie the tour guide and Regina the bus driver were an excellent team! They had such a good rapport with each other and this made our experience so much more enjoyable. Melanie had a vast knowledge of the island. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Would definitely recommend. Thank you both!

Brilliant day out.
Fantastic trip from start to finish. Our guide Melanie was brilliant, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, she kept us both informed and entertained throughout the trip. Tasted some lovely wines and the caves are an absolute must do while in kefalonia, some great photo opportunities and a lovely lunch stop. Also have to mention our driver Regina, although her english was limited she was friendly, fun and kept us entertained, we felt in safe hands with her expert driving around the island. Would highly recommend this company and this trip.

Discovered Kefalonia
From the very beginning of the private tour our guide, Chris, imparted information about a great many things regarding Kefalonia and Greece. We learned about history, customs, architecture, significant locations, cuisine, politics and much more.
Chris was very generous with his time and we saw all that was requested and more! It was a very full day and one we’ll not forget. Such a beautiful island! Chris had the best spots to capture this beauty in our photos and was happy to take some snaps of our family for us.
He knew the right times to visit high tourist destinations so we’d avoid the hour long waits, he drove safely and adapted the tour to our requests.
Chris treated us to delicious homemade bread and sausage from his mother’s kitchen and local cheese. He also shared local wine, without preservatives, with us in a mountain top setting with a story of its own.
Thank you Chris. Kefalonia is all we’d hoped it would be and you helped us discover much it has to offer its visitors.
