Good coach tour from the South to the North and back again
A longish day but very good value and a chance to spend some time at the small village of Assos and the larger village of Fiscardo, both in the North of the island. Pick-up - from Skala in the South in our case - was on time and then a few more pick-ups later, we set off for the North of the island. Our guide Maria did an admirable job of conveying lots of island history while we passed through some lovely mountain and coastal scenery. Assos and Fiscardo were fine and there was also an optional boat ride into a cave. One of us did the boat ride which turned out to be a bit underwhelming. However, the tour is worth doing even just for the scenery. Our coach driver Babbis expertly negotiated numerous sharp hairpins and narrow roads to get us all safely back to our starting points.

Fiscardo and Assos tour
Great day trip out to fiscardo and Assos ,Maria our guide was very knowledgeable we also visited the messalini caves all in all a great day out :)

Great excursion
This was an excellent tour, from the start we were picked up on time and the driver and guide were very good. Would definitely recommend using this tour operator.

Full packed day
Picked up just before 9am and got back at 6.50pm, so long but full day.
Visited the Mellisana Cave, Fiscardo and Assos.
Maria, our Guide, was amazing. Kept us informed and entertained whilst on the coach and was happy answering lost of questions!
Lots of free time at each stop and never seemed rushed.
Thanks Maria and our Driver with the unpronounceable Greek name!

Great day out!
Great day out made special by our guide Wendy and amazing driver Babis.
Pick up exactly on time and plenty of time at each stop on the tour.
Wendy’s cometary was interesting, funny and empathic. She dealt with the island’s emotional recent history with grace and feeling.
And Babis!
Skilled, patient and calm. All traits need on this small windy roads.

Completely inept
Inept organisation. I have no doubt this tour is excellent if you actually get to go on it. If you're thinking of booking, please don't leave it to do on the last day of your holiday because it might not happen. I booked this in advance, went into the office when we arrived in Lassi just to make sure everything was OK. I was told that yes and 'he' would call me the night before the trip. He didn't call so we turned up to the office 10 minutes early, announced ourselves and were told to wait outside for the bus. After an hour of waiting, the woman in the office checked with 'him', and he said that the trip was cancelled because there weren't enough people and that he had emailed me. He definitely did not email or call. Being told to wait outside for a bus that was never coming was the final insult. This was the day before we were due to fly home, so it was too late to make alternative arrangements for another tour. The staff really couldn't care less. We walked down to the office of Kefalonia Experiences - it was too late for them to arrange anything for us at short notice but the woman we spoke to was really kind and gave us some helpful suggestions of what we could do in the short time we had left. So, if in doubt, walk a little further down the Lassi main road and pop into Kefalonia Experiences and avoid Kefalonia Excursions unless you're not bothered whether you go on the trip or not.

We are very surprised by your review, as we have no record of a reservation under the circumstances you describe.
Furthermore, the person responsible for our office and reservations is a woman, which raises serious questions about the accuracy of your account and your repeated references to a man handling your booking.
We also find it extremely unusual that your review of our company includes a detailed recommendation for a direct competitor, even going so far as to encourage potential customers to visit their office instead of ours.
We take genuine customer feedback very seriously, but we must also protect our business from misleading or potentially inaccurate reviews.
If you did make a reservation with Kefalonia Excursions, we invite you to provide your booking confirmation, reservation name and date of travel so that we can investigate your claims properly.
Until then, we strongly dispute your account and believe it does not accurately reflect our company or the service we provide.

Would highly recommend
A wonderful tour of the island stopping off at two charming villages Assos and Fiscardo and also the enchanting Melissani cave lake, where for a small fee of 10 euros you can be rowed around the lake by the friendly boatsmen. You will see many spectacular views of the island and have the chance for some amazing photos on a short stop at the best viewpoint. Our guide was Wendy who complemented the trip hugely with her vast knowledge of the island and past and present Greek traditions and way of life, Wendy kept all of us entertained with Greek tales of the past. A throughly enjoyable trip from start to finish.

Exceptional guide
