What a morning! Ahmed made sure we had a wonderful morning with him, the sunrise at Lake Moraine has been a highlight of our trip. Memories to last a lifetime…and amazing photos too!

The sunrise was more magical than we could’ve imagined, we got very lucky with the whether but I’d highly recommend bringing a couple blankets as it’s fairly chilly in the am! And our tour guide Eray was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the land, as well he took great pictures for us!

The history of the area by our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Robin. She also sent a text message the day before, kept up with the people on tour and graciously answered all our questions. Lake Moraine was our favorite site.

Brian was a great guide! He’s very informative & knowledgeable regarding all things in the area! The lakes were worth it!

Sorry, we can't recommend this tour at all. When looking for sunrise tours, we picked this one specifically because it had a pickup near our hotel in Canmore, so we wouldn't have to drive into Banff in the early morning, and park there all day. We received multiple messages from Viator and from Banff Everyday Tours referencing our "Unique Sunrise Experience" and "Canmore Pick-up 02:30". So we were up and waiting at the pick-up point at 2:20 for a van that never showed! 2:30 came and went, then 3, then 3:30.... The whole time we were calling the contact number which they provided and no one ever answered; no one ever called back. We emailed the contact we were given - no response. We ended up calling Viator (who DID answer their phone) and they couldn't get a hold of the tour company either. I understand it was 4 in the morning - but if you're operating a tour at that hour, you should have a way to be contacted at that hour! We never did get a call back - only a message sent to Viator explaining that - even though "Sunrise" was in the name of our booking - even though we'd ordered breakfast to be included - some dope had put us down for a daytime tour. To add insult to injury, even the inadequate apology referenced the "Unique Sunrise Experience" tour and "Canmore pick-up 02:30". We ended up having to book a different tour with a different company on a different day, when the weather was rainy and foggy. Our advice is: if you're going to risk it with Banff Everyday Tours, call them (not Viator) ahead of time - during regular business hours - and check and re-check the details.

Deniz was a great guide; very personable, knowledgeable of local history and kept on schedule. I am so glad that he did the driving, so that we tourists did not have to fight traffic, crowds, or scramble to find bus shuttle tickets. We were well positioned on the rockpile at Lake Moraine to see the sunrise. My wife and I were able to walk the Lake Louise shoreline. So we felt no need to return to either Lake. And we saw a fantastic rainbow rising out of Lake Louise! (I'm sure that Deniz had a hand in that as well LOL)

Great Tour! Book it, you won't regret it. Deniz, was a good tour director and he was very informative of the area. Good tour and good guide. I highly recommend this trip.

Robyn is such a great guide. Very informative and so much fun. I have been to banff and lake Louise a couple time before but going with her was a different experience. Got to know so many interesting facts. Loved it

This tour will get you early access to Moraine Lake for Sunrise light, then over to Lake Louise for an hour and a half. Moraine sunrise tour is very popular, and space is limited once at the overlook. Lot's of tourists jockeying for a clean photo position. If you want to experience Moraine lake, you must take a tour, there is no self drive option. Our driver/guide got us down to Lake Louise early which was great to walk out before the bigger crowds followed shortly after. There is an overlook you can hike up, and is it UP, but worth the effort IMO. Overall this was an okay tour, but much too expensive. The Driver was on time, but no coffee or hot beverage was made available as advertised in the booking. He did a good job of being a "guide" offering information and trivia of the lakes. He also made a few wrong turns once back into Banff returning us to the drop-off. The price of the tour doesn't offer great value but if you want to see both lakes before the all-day crowds, there is little in other options.
