Akin is a wonderful guide, speaks English perfectly, very knowledgeable about every historical attraction and more. Always on time, very friendly and just a great guy to be around. We spent the entire day with him and we were delighted to do so! Highly recommended!

Akin is great! He put together a custom program for me based on my needs and preferences. He delivered exactly what I needed and wanted to experience. I asked him to set up interviews and meet ups with different kinds of artists and crafts people, and he did so perfectly. I wanted to meet and interview one of Istanbul's famous ice cream vendors, and he arranged that, too! This was my second time touring with him. He very quickly feels as much like a friend as like a guide. He gives such a passionate and engaging insider's view of Istanbul, sharing so much about his personal experiences, the culture, and life there in general. I'm sure I will be returning, and I will definitely ask Akin to show me around again.
Akin is a very good guide. Knowledgeable, personable and flexible and a wealth of background information around the different sites. His relaxed demeanor in a chaotic city is a breath of fresh air and NO hard sells to “take you to his friends shop”!!!
