I was a guest of a friend who was celebrating her birthday, on the day of my arrival in the city. I had been downgraded on my flight and was cranky and probably less than sweet smelling. Oh great, I thought. Opera. I hope I can feign enthusiasm for the sake of my dear friend. Let me tell you that as soon as I heard The Flower Duet I was a fan girl. What a thoroughly delightful evening! The food was delicious, the service was lovely, and the music made me regret that I was not gifted a voice such as the cast have. I hope my Birthday Friend enjoyed the evening as much as I did, because she is a treasure, and so was our evening at Bel Canto. Oh why can’t I sing.

Exceptional from A to Z! The meal is good and beautiful, the setting is nice and warm, the staff adorable and cheerful, the singers incredible and, icing on the cake, the atmosphere between them looks too nice. Total enchantment tonight. We were there with our daughter and all loved it. Finally, thank you to Alexis for his welcome on the phone and his kindness.

Fabulous! We have an amazing evening at Bel Canto on our last night in Paris. Each of the four artists on their own sang beautifully, then when combined , they brought beauty and mastery to each aria they sang. WHile we went for the singing, the food did not disappoint. The Chateaubriand was tender and flavorful and the leek risotto was prepared perfectly al dente. Highly recommended!!
