Toma was amazing. The historic heatwave made it less enjoyable but she was very caring about the group and did a fantastic job keeping us moving and engaged. We were sad to miss Napoleon’s apartments due to the heat but we felt like we had an excellent experience anyway because the guide was so knowledgeable and helpful.
An Unforgettable Journey Through Art and History
Toma was amazing. She was knowledgeable, patient, did not mind if we asked about art work not really in the list of things she was talking about. Overall it was just as expected. One cannot see everything in even a full day. 3 hours was just enough to see some main things with a tired and hot 6 year old. Wish we could have seen Napoleons apartments which were closed in the heat.
Rooms are well maintained, neat and hygienic. Room service is very good and specially Bikram who provided room service was good. Nice outside view.
The City Tours Company did a fantastic job. We showed up late to the tour due to confusion over meeting place. You must download the City Tours app and you will see the exact meeting place in a picture. They were able to accommodate us on a later tour. Maxim, our tour guide, was superb. The passion he brought to the tour was both inspiring and informative. We would recommend this tour to anyone wanted to see the highlights of the Louvre. Merci!!
Sid was an awesome tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. We saw almost everything we wanted to see in the tour. Weber able to get to them afterwards
It’s a hot weather. Last minute decision to pay a visit to the Luvre museum, the Jewel of Paris, of France, because of limit duration in Paris right before trip. It’s definitely worth the sweater and the walk, especially with a guide like the enthusiastic Claire. She explained the history and the embedded beauty of each masterpiece. She welcomed and answered your questions with smiles and forceful gestures. She tells you which Napoleon, the first or the third, was the Napoleon people are talking about and why. Claire definitely loves all the masterpieces and has the desire and passion to tell you about. It’s an unbelievable experience, and very impressed by the beauty and stories told by the lady Claire. At Mona Lisa, my phone lost battery and couldn’t took even one photo of her, Claire joked that she and Mona Lisa want me to come back and visit them again! 😎
Natalia was a wonderful guide who knew anything and everything about the museum. She was also very helpful getting through the very large crowd gathered in front of the Mona Lisa. She did a great job and cared for her clients.
Severine was supportive, personable, knowledgable and engaging! She knows her subject and conveys her passion for it with her group. 10/10!!!
Very cool museum, but did not appreciate how much the tour guide brought current partisan politics into the tour
